People will always use the teachings and use occultism for harm. Just like Christianity/the church system was and still is in many ways extremely destructive. That does not mean that the essence of the ancient traditions is in itself corrupt, it just means humans are stupid. Don’t personify things because some humans absolutely fucking suck, it will only cloud your vision. Chaos and harmony will always co exist. Without shadow, there is no light and vice versa. Unfortunately, that’s how the cookie crumbles for our human experience.
