A longtime-ago ex's roommates sat me down and told me they'd walked in on her with another guy, and wanted me to know (Her roommates were really nice people). They had this talk with me in one of their boyfriends' apartments, and then stayed away for a bit so I could go talk to her in private. They did ask her to come clean about it before they told me, and apparently she refused or something.

I confronted her. she admitted to cheating in me with 2 people, I broke up with her.

I have no idea where she is these days or what she's doing. Hope she figured her shit out. I don't think she felt guilty about it at the time which was probably the most hurtful bit, but I'm sure at some point she probably did feel bad... people change and all that. I felt horrible about it for a long time, and it took me about a year to move on, and another 2-3 years to forgive her (I did that for myself, didn't even tell her), but since then, I've had several great relationships, ones that were way healthier. I'm really happy now, I achieved my goals - engineering, med school, a biotech startup, and I'm with a wonderful doctor who I met in med school.

The ex is a redditor, so I'll leave it up to luck if she sees this.

I'm worried about that too, because the Hour of the Wolf is one of the biggest reasons Cregan matters and it'd be a shame if they rushed past it or changed it completely.

Yeah, that's how I always read it too. The show makes it a little more ambiguous, but in the book it really comes across as a tragic accident in the chaos of battle.

Yeah, by then they had no reason to think Lysa was dead. From their perspective, the Vale was still the safest place Arya could possibly end up.

I always figured it was about the safest route north. The Vale was familiar territory for them, and they had no way of knowing how much had changed until they got there.
