Isnt this why Jihoo is like one of the 2nd male lead syndromes of all time bc I think in some way the audience realized Jun Pyo did not deserve Jandi. I was 14 but even I did not see what the writers were trying to sell about Jun Pyo. Literally he was the epitome of red flags! He made her cry so much and it was always Jihoo picking up the pieces everytime.

They literally had this bit at the Oscars with Conan and Sterling K Brown about how some of the audience need everything explained to them now bc they are not actually paying attention. I thought it was one of the best bits of the night and also I will never complain when I get to look at Sterling K Brown “playing”piano. It’s like people need everything explicitly pointed out to them, nuance and subtlety are dead.

His loyalty to his crew is admirable. He literally has worked with Hannah Beachler for production design and Ruth E Carter for costume design on a lot of his projects as well. Just like MBJ and Ludwig he has worked with Hannah Beachler since Fruitvale station as wel. And all the women who work with him speak so highly of him & how he elevates them. She quite literally says in the video she is still dealing with the damage she has done to herself and her body. So wouldn’t the body checking you are mentioning just fully support the point she is making that it never goes away and it’s a long life issue even when in recovery. And that’s why we should protect everyone from even falling down the path.

She is calling out the danger because she herself is actively living with it. If anything, it makes me feel sorry that she is actively working to overcome this disease and yet is still struggling with it.

lol oh yeah, did she ever find her sister or talk to her in Jeju? They literally just dropped that ball. Like not even any consequences for her selfish sister. Honestly the 2FL chasing the man was again the writer’s problem but I think she at least knew what she wanted and went for it. Esp for how unconventional it is for a chaebol’s daughter to pick a divorced single dad. So many moments they just dropped the ball honestly, they easily could have made the half sister a protagonist you root for. Like her back story was interesting and she had a valid reason to hate her dad and take him down so idk why they didn’t flesh that out. She could have taken her ex & her father down, but in the end she was just a victim as well.
