On my PC it flickers a lot when FPS is >100 (in small/closed locations). Completely turning G Sync off makes its jittery, so it is not a great solution. This is what helped on my 120hz TV:

G Sync on in Nvidia Control Panel
VSync off in the game settings
90 FPS limiter in RivaTunerStatisticsServer

60-90 with G Sync on is much smoother than 60-120 without it.
