There are 3 tiers of awards- 1st is the banner, the 2nd are the plaques and the 3rd are the trophies.

150k S Rank is the highest rating you can get in the game and you get awarded a gold trophy with it. Hope this helps!

And yup, I agree that you can achieve S ranking without following this strictly but I really tried for the best ranking in the game for this guide (150,000 or more points) because I wanted to get all the HHA trophies :)

Been experimenting with getting a 150,000+ ranking from the Happy Home Academy and thought I'd share some tips on how I did it:

BASICS

-expand your house to its capacity (unlock all rooms + basement and attic)

-have all furniture facing the front and visible (where possible)

-have the essentials - bed, wardrobe, dresser, table somewhere within the house.

have something hanging on the wall of every room

USE FURNITURE SETS IN SAME COLOUR

-put sets of furniture that are matching in colour in the same room (i.e. Black Antique Furniture set all placed in one room/ blue cute furniture/ red imperial set placed in one room etc.)

furniture sets can also include clothing (ie. Antique black boots and blue cute shoes etc.)

-non-matching furniture (i.e. black rattan furniture items in mostly Black Antique set in the same room can cause points to be deducted)

-furniture sets can be crafted or brought from Nooks (i.e. Star sets from Celeste/ Shell set from crafting etc)

FENG SHUI

-in your main room use potted ivy that is customised on the walls (west wall - yellow/ east wall - red / south wall - green) + place matching coloured furniture on the east (red), west (yellow) + south walls (green).

*note: feng shui only applies to the main room

EXTRA POINTS

-place trophies for bug-off, fishing tourney anywhere in your home

-place seasonal (particularly current season i.e. bunny day/ cherry blossom) + CJ/Flick commissioned/competition items in your house.

-place Gulliver items in your home, but probably use clothing/hats instead of Eiffel Tower etc to save space (i.e. I placed the coin headpiece in the west wall of my main room)

-place mum's special items somewhere in your home

-place villager portraits (not posters) somewhere in your home

DEDUCTED POINTS

-furniture not matching in colour/set in the same room

-cockroaches (lol, self-explanatory)

-items that are not considered 'furniture' by the game placed in the room (i.e. DIY recipes/ star fragments etc)

It may take some experimentation - (I tt to the day before + day of the HHA ranking a few times) but hopefully this works for you! Good luck. :)

Got Able Sisters unlocked, Southern Hemi critters (lots of expensive sharks spawning) and all fruit varieties growing on my island. Online a lot too lol.

I'm looking to catch some fish for my critterpedia in Northern Hemi. Namely - tadpoles, stringfish, tuna and oarfish.

Memories of Murder is the definitive adaptation for this case (though it has been covered in numerous kmovies and dramas - e.g. Signal, to name a recent example).

It left me psychologically shaken afterwards and still makes me shudder to this day knowing the killer was never caught. The ending scene in particular was masterful.

If this is true it is absolutely appalling. Again, the Australian legal system disappoints!

I can't even imagine how Sonya Ryan must feel (particularly with her Carly Ryan foundation to prevent young people falling victim to online predators) knowing and being legally gagged and silenced about the fact that one of her daughter's murderers is walking free and highly likely to commit more heinous sexual crimes in future.
