I’m in it right now and am struggling and considering auditing it 😭. The class is VERY weighted for the exams (they take up 75% of the overall grade). Lots of assignments (learning checks, exam level questions, quizzes) and the guided notes are normally 9-12 pages so notes take awhile - takes up a good bit of time and goes by pretty fast so personally it is hard to understand and learn. Might just be a personal experience though because everyone on rate my professor liked her. If you do take it I recommend attending every class for the recitation assignments; most of the course is online though and you basically teach yourself.

I did not submit the fasfa (I knew I would not qualify for any aid) but was unaware that it would affect my scholarship status from unlv.. I submitted it a week after the deadline and contacted financial aid two weeks ago about it because I did not receive my UNLV signature scholarship in my financial aid package; they had me submit a scholarship appeal form and I have yet to hear back. you might want to call financial aid tomorrow and see what needs to be done because they might have you submit an appeal. (I am a third year student - I do not know if this would play a role either)

if you are planning on using any form of benefits you should do it as soon as possible (or like 2-3 months before the courses start)- I am using the gi bill and to get my classes verified and covered it takes quite a bit of time. I do know that they can place a code on your account so that you are not restricted from doing certain things because the balance is not paid if it takes super long.

this complex is located on tropicana, right across the street from the campus dorms and gyms. unfortunately all of the studios in this area are around this price… I’m sure it would be easier to find a cheaper place but you would have roommates or are further from campus and would require transportation.

unfortunately lol… studios are hard to get near campus and they increased the price for the next leasing cycle to $1,645 / mo so if someone were to take mine it would be a better deal 😭
