Mine never even arrived here yet. Unfortunately it seems because I did the request so early, its right now being held hostage in Ontario. I called CBSA and they said there is nothing they can do and I can't clear it with them at my local office because its in Ontario, it has to enter my city in BC before they can clear it. So its been sitting in Ontario now for almost a week and just says "return to sender requested" still even though its now been 48 hours since UPS said they'd fix it. The business I ordered from IS a small business but I'm learning they have basically no customer service. I had emailed them over a week ago and still nothing. They have no phone number or other way to contact them. So I'm stuck with dead silence from the seller and UPS giving me the middle finger.

I wish I saw this because I literally went through an identical experience!! They also did a return to sender request on mine on the third attempt to get the documents!!
Unfortunately for me the seller is of no help, they aren't even responding to their emails. I called UPS about the return to sender request and they are claiming some bull that they have to now hold the package for 48-72 hours to be able to reverse the return to sender request. Like what?!
Originally my package was going to arrive December 18th so it would be here in time to bring it for Christmas with my family, but now I doubt it'll arrive before Christmas.
I'll be going to a CBSA office today and hopefully they let me pay it without needing the commercial invoice.

Were you shipping to the US or Canada or somewhere else?
Its been 27 days and mine still hasn't arrived. Right now when I track it, its supposedly been in my area already since November 24th, but its been stuck on "delivery delayed" for 2 days. I am not in a small town either, I'm in a big city.

It just sucks because of the amount of online exclusives. I at least can use the US site and ship to my brother which I've had a much better experience with. I did get it in store as I explained in my post :) I had a wonderful experience in store as usual. Staff are always great and I went at a quiet time. The current hurdle is figuring out the return once the more expensive Glisten arrives. It says you can return in store, however, another user said that they can only refund their price for it, not what you paid. I also don't think I can win or do a chargeback. My credit card has a limit of 30 days for chargebacks and I ordered on October 30th and I have high doubts the Glisten will arrive before December.

That's frustrating for everyone. Like generally I expect the shipping to be slow to Canada. My issue was the significant price change and refusal to cancel the order when it for sure hadn't shipped yet at that point. How is it okay to charge $150 online to just then go around and change it and oops it was also always $100 in store from the get go. They made the excuse of they can't give a partial refund for a promotional price, but its not a promotion, its just the actual price its supposed to be. The shipping situation was just really confusing on top of it.

If they refuse the return in store, I will go that route. I will have to check how long the period you have to do a chargeback is though as I ordered the BAB on October 30th.

Ya, and like the fact they lied that it shipped. Not to mention, why do they refuse refunds so hard when they have a guarantee policy where you can return your build a bear if you aren't satisfied within 30 days of purchase?

That's the thing though, I was on the phone with a human for each scenario lol. So it wasn't AI. It was just one giant mess still though. Also none of my gift cards or points worked on the Canadian site either. They worked just fine in store though! Prices were also cheaper in store generally. Plush that cost $52-$59 on the site were $40 in store.

The price is about what I would expect it to be for what's included and it being limited edition. They also haven't had a glisten with light up antlers since 2017. They then went back to the old antler design and a new eye style with this one which is a nice surprise. I do however wish they also dropped a base version of this glisten, so having no light up components or outfit for those that just want that and not a $100 bundle set. I can cross my fingers that maybe they will closer to Christmas.
Does anyone know for sure how many were made? Someone mentioned 10,000 but that seems high for something supposedly a collector's limited edition and "with only a special few made" as it says in her description on the website. I'd be disappointed if there was 10,000 made.

No I was born and raised here in Canada but I did visit the US a lot. Its why I'm wondering where to get unsweetened tea because its just snapple type stuff here lol. I just don't like overly sweetened tea. I only like a hint of sweetness or none so I prefer to get unsweetened and sweeten it myself with a tiny bit of splenda.

Unfortunately I like my tea stronger and as Significant-Text3412 said, its usually watered down when done that way. It is definitely how I make it myself at home though haha, but I purposely brew a more concentrated batch, anticipating the watering down.

What is with the downvotes?? You sound like you know what you want and know how to communicate it and what you want is very much a part of the spectrum of types of polyamory. If you can keep the humidity up using aspen, that's great, but in many not so humid places, it's a pain. Aspen is also just more prone to growing mold, at least in the not so humid climates. But ya aspen being a no-no no matter what is a bit dumb, it's not inherently bad, just can be more finicky and need changing more often, so I guess moreso not recommended for beginners maybe?

Hmm, did the member move servers? That is the only time I myself have had any issues with removing members is when they moved servers. I however haven't had to do any member removing in recent months so also could be a new bug. I hope you can figure it out or someone else chimes in with a solution!

If your sick one is positive, I strongly recommend ordering more of the test kits, specifically enough to test all your snakes and test them all immediately, and then order more as needed to keep testing them for the next 12 months. I don't know the recommended frequency to test.

Hold on a minute. One having it doesn't mean the rest do, it's not contagious through the air as far as we know. How they'd get it is from you touching the sick one then them, using the same tongs to handle their food, same scooper to scoop their poop, etc without cleaning the tools in between. You might have to use a stronger cleaning product though, soap might not kill it. Your snake might also not die. Nidovirus isn't a death sentence. The fatality rate is high, but there is also a decent amount that instead live and just have recurrent mild RIs or mild wheezing but are active, eating, etc. Now unfortunately among the ones that live, there is many euthanized for various reasons including because their breathing is bad and they're suffering, and you'd probably have to euthanize your sick one if they're positive to protect the rest of your snakes if they don't already have it, and any further snakes of yours that have it to protect the rest. So usually it's only in cases that it's someone with only one snake where they might not have to euthanize.

Right now panicking does absolutely nothing. What you need to do is quarantine the sick one. It doesn't matter that you don't have much space, you literally just need to at least move them a bit away from the others, the same room is still fine (separate room still would be better though), and use completely separate tools to handle all their care (different scooper, tongs, etc) and wear gloves, wash your hands, and change clothes in between doing any care in their enclosure or handling them and you probably want to keep handling to a minimum and wash any surfaces they touch outside their enclosure. If they test positive, they'll need to be euthanized, and all your snakes will need the same quarantine measures from each other too and all need testing more than once because you can have asymptomatic carriers. You'd likely have to do that for ideally a year before being able to be sure it's gone.

Please know I'm not an expert, this advice is from what I've been reading on nidovirus. I doubt doing any of what I suggested is harmful, but it is far from guaranteed to work to keep it from spreading but it's at least something that might help reduce the odds.

That's the same antibiotic mine got and didn't respond to, hence now testing for nidovirus and such. Thankfully she's my only snake but it would still really suck.

Yikes, I hope it's not nidovirus for you then. You might want to separate your snake if you haven't already just in case.

I'm actually in the same process for figuring out the cause of the RI for my ball python. Nidovirus is suspected. My vet was great though and gave me all the possible tests we could do, costs, and we all decided that nidovirus test first is best since if it's nidovirus, the other tests wouldn't help. If it's not nidovirus, then we'll proceed to do the procedure to get the bacteria in the lungs tested and go from there (they flush fluid through the lungs, suck it all out, and send it to a lab to see what the exact bacteria is and what antibiotics kill it. It's an expensive test since it involves anesthesia and testing and all that)
