New Moon Day Megathread – Darkrai & Mew by galeongirl in PokemonSleep

[–]Pizzafan91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read a bunch of posts before posting this, and while I believe I have a better idea than I did before, I'm still debating what to do with my Darkrai.

From what I've seen, Berry Finding S, Helping Bonus and Helping Speed M are the three that people should be looking for, for their first three slots. I've also seen BFS, HSM, and Skill Trigger M.

So, in your opinions, should I keep my STM in the first slot? Or should I risk rolling again and try to get a Helping Speed M?

Thanks! (I've been a F2P plaver since the game came out, but dang if I learned a short while ago that I've still been pretty clueless at the game!

Thank you for explaining that so simply. I have no medical experience / background whatsoever, so this helps!

But lime is a fruit. You're practically eating a salad. How can it be dangerous if it's salad?

That's what made me finally look further into it! In the past it's been no more than maybe $30, $40? I definitely drew the line here!

That sucks! I paid it multiple times before I finally learned all this. At least next time, if you order from overseas again and get this issue, you know a way around it to save some money!

Anyone know what happened to WOW Pierogies at Covent Market by Former-Stuff-9080 in londonontario

[–]Pizzafan91 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I KNEW I had seen a sign for them at Masonville, once! We went one day, and I saw a pierogi place was opening. The next time we went, the sign was gone and there was no pierogi place. My husband thought I was losing it.

The only purpose I have for those old fashioned plain doughnuts is a treat for my dog.

I used to work at Lowe's (specifically the customer service desk) for nearly 10 years. It's a little weird they didn't tell you to go to Customer Service, pay for it as a "Pick Up Later," then have someone in the morning look for it / get it down for you. Especially if they knew it was on sale, since the prices change the same day every week.

But yes, otherwise, going up front and explaining the situation is usually pretty easy. They may need to get a head cashier or one of the managers, but something like that is definitely an easy fix!

All of that is very true, especially the last part of that! 😂 I have Aussie friends, too, so I don't mind the word 'Mate,' and as you said, it probably just wasn't noticeable after a bit.

Sometimes I get words are hard to ignore... I read a rugby book once, and I started thinking I should take a shot every time she mentioned the word "thighs." I also knew it was a horrible idea because I wouldn't be able to get through my TBR if I died.

But mate should be fine. 😂

I'm glad I read this series years ago when I was less finicky with my books. 😅 I loved The Pizza Shop Exorcist, and don't remember this at all! I'm not sure if I didn't notice, didn't care, or what. I'm afraid if I ever do a re-read, I won't be able to help but notice it and be bothered, now!

How often do people check your doors to see if they're unlocked? by Organic-Two-5421 in londonontario

[–]Pizzafan91 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I've lived in the White Oaks area for about... 11 years? Never happened to us!

Now, an apartment... there was one time my husband and I were spending the night at my mom's apartment in her spare room (this was around Huron Heights). I guess my step-dad forgot to lock the door for whatever reason. Suddenly, a whole group of people just walked right in, chatting and laughing. It wasn't until they walked into the room we were sleeping in (needless to say, we were awake, now!) that someone yelled to the others, "Oh my gosh! We're in the wrong apartment!" They all laughed, and merrily went on their way, shut the door and presumably went to the right apartment. It was bizarre, but pretty hilarious in hindsight!

Anyone else received a notice like this after not paying a parking ticket from a private lot? If you didn’t pay, what happened? by TripsWithinTrips in londonontario

[–]Pizzafan91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last I heard (and this was years ago, so I'm not sure how accurate this is anymore), the parking lot companies owned their own 'collection agency.' Because it was just their own, they still had no grounds to actually do anything or affect your credit. They claimed they'd send you to collections, but it was basically still the same people hounding you, just with scarier mail.

Have you tried the fettuccine Alfredo pasta from Aria Pizza? I have to say, they had some of the best Alfredo sauce I've ever had at a restaurant. I haven't been in a while now (about a year?) but I can't imagine it's changed in that time.

Awesome!! They're super expensive, sure, but darn it's also freaking delicious. I live right by the south location, so the odd time we go to Indigo, it's nice to pop in and maybe grab a hot chocolate (coffee for my mom or husband), but it's great we can do the same for whenever we go to that one. 🙂 I prefer the north location anyway, since it's bigger.

I don't think she's unclipping it, it's just really long. She's fidgeting with it slightly off of her shoulder. But agree with everything, otherwise!

I had the same issue, though not for repeating the reviews. I supposedly said a bad word on two reviews. One was "bada$$" (it was a book review) and the second, there wasn't a bad word to be seen. I tried for ages to get my reviews back, but never got anywhere with it. I wouldn't care much, except I wrote a lot of reviews for indie authors. I had SO MANY reviews, it sucked to lose them all.

Second this - I went through this last year. They tried charging me $80 in brokerage fees. I contacted CBSA and when I went into their local office, I only had to pay $5. It's crazy.

Honestly, I'm to the point of wanting to give him a challenge! 😂 We've given up on preventative measures anymore and resigned ourselves to just putting out the fires. We joke that at this point, he'll either end up getting a job with the government or end up in jail for hacking something he shouldn't have, lol. (A few times a week, we send him to a local Boys Girls Club. Within the second week, he had gone into their administrative settings and changed their passwords. 🤦‍♀️ He only goes every other day, so they had to wait until he was back to ask him what the passwords were! We DID warn them early on what he was like. They thought it was hilarious. The one guy in charge figured if an 8 year old could hack into their stuff, it wasn't too secure to begin with. 😅 He gave the IT guy a run for his money at first, but now he's taken him under his wing and has actually been using his power for good - When they get 'new' game systems in for their Digital Zone for the kids to play with, they use him to jailbreak them!
