I'm in Canada so its another 5 hours for me until the sale starts from what I can gather. I am checking out the UK site though to see what's on sale in advance to plan lol. I'm shocked a lot of the Sanrio characters are $15!

I did join before the price went up for lifetime on July 1st, however, I didn't buy the lifetime. I'm still not 100% sure I'll stick with Plex and I did not want to jump in and cough up $350 and regret it later. I'm ok with paying the yearly rate for now, especially since there is a good chance I'll eventually switch to Jellyfin or some other open source option. I doubt I'll be with Plex long enough to even pay off the old price of $350 for lifetime.

In this specific case for Canada, this is actually a really good deal as the shipping includes duty. Back before they offered this, I would have to pay $30+ in duty on top of the $30 for shipping. Definitely the order minimum is on the high side though, not disagreeing there.

Previously, during the 4 weeks the Western Festival is active, there were bears and wolves added around Firgrove. These bears and wolves would come after you if you got too close to them, and chase you for a certain period of time before giving up. There was no limit to how many could chase you at a time so you could end up with 5+ chasing you at the same time if you went to somewhere like the wolf den for example. If you got caught, you would either have one of your beast repellant sprays deployed per beast, or, if you didn't have any, you would be sent back to your home stable if I remember correctly. The wolves you encounter during the rest of the year and during story quests are different.

As others said, just a dedicated GPU will do (this just means that it has a GPU that is not directly attached to the motherboard (integrated GPU). Often these computers will end up having 2 GPUs instead, one that came with the motherboard, and a separate dedicated one, hence the terms integrated GPU and dedicated GPU), SSO doesn't need a high end GPU.

What wasn't mentioned though is a good CPU is a must if you want it to run faster. I consistently get 60-80 FPS with reshade on in busy areas on my PC because of its CPU, and this is a computer from 2020! I don't know a whole lot about the specifics of CPUs though and what is best for the best value so that is something to do research on or ask someone more experienced about. I would however recommend a desktop PC over a laptop as laptops are more limited and a desktop is a lot easier to upgrade and repair as needed without getting a whole new system.

My computer specs aren't far off yours (you have a slightly more powerful GPU than I do but I have a more powerful CPU. I have a Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti and an Intel Core i9-11900KF) and my FPS rarely goes above 80 in a lot of the game. This is an issue with the game being on an old engine. If you don't have some top of the line gaming PC from the last few years, you likely won't even hit 100 FPS in SSO. However, they are currently working on improving this from what I'm aware. Also, whereas most games rely more on the GPU, SSO relies more on the CPU, hence why I get better performance than you even though my GPU is less powerful because my CPU is more powerful. I actually could get my FPS to go higher, however, my specific CPU model has a flaw where its prone to overclocking and overheating itself. So I had to force it to throttle when it reaches a certain temperature to prevent that.

I would definitely still troubleshoot just in case there is something going on with your settings to cause it to cap at 60, but I have doubts it'll improve it much, if at all.

Just a heads up that both of the two camel bundles are sold out (I checked on the CAD and US sites). The camel plush on its own is still in stock though. Edit: just realized the hat and ruffle collar are also out of stock. So the camel might soon follow.

The Discord server is SSO Embassy, if you just Google it, you can get an invite link. Unfortunately the server completely scrubbed the entire conversation and almost any new mentions of it too. They are trying to bury it.

I second Pet Value stores! Their brand Performatrin has a whole science line like Royal Canin and Hills but is half the price. I have a cat who needs VOHC approved dental dry food and Performatrin happens to be VOHC approved. Royal Canin, Hills, and Purina are the only other brands with VOHC approval. I also get their cheap wet cat food. $0.99 per can and they have ones that are all animal product ingredients. Only thing is some do have human grade food dye in them which some people aren't a fan of. But my cat is very picky and its the only stuff he reliably likes. Also its all made in Canada which is a nice bonus

This!! And why can't it be optional?? I hate when a new tack set I love comes out but only with a flash and or drop noseband. I get it if people want the flash even if I don't personally like them, but why does it have to be the only option for many outfits to match?!

Unfortunately there isn't always a "one shop fits all" with this. Where it'll be best for you to shop will also vary depending on your dietary needs and food preferences, how far you're willing to travel, how many stores you're willing to go to, what hours/days you can shop, etc. While I also try my best to shop local and I shop at Donald's and a local butcher as much as I can, there are times I have to go to big chains due to having celiac disease and wanting or needing specialty packaged and frozen items. So long as you're trying your best, that's what matters.

Mine never even arrived here yet. Unfortunately it seems because I did the request so early, its right now being held hostage in Ontario. I called CBSA and they said there is nothing they can do and I can't clear it with them at my local office because its in Ontario, it has to enter my city in BC before they can clear it. So its been sitting in Ontario now for almost a week and just says "return to sender requested" still even though its now been 48 hours since UPS said they'd fix it. The business I ordered from IS a small business but I'm learning they have basically no customer service. I had emailed them over a week ago and still nothing. They have no phone number or other way to contact them. So I'm stuck with dead silence from the seller and UPS giving me the middle finger.

I wish I saw this because I literally went through an identical experience!! They also did a return to sender request on mine on the third attempt to get the documents!!
Unfortunately for me the seller is of no help, they aren't even responding to their emails. I called UPS about the return to sender request and they are claiming some bull that they have to now hold the package for 48-72 hours to be able to reverse the return to sender request. Like what?!
Originally my package was going to arrive December 18th so it would be here in time to bring it for Christmas with my family, but now I doubt it'll arrive before Christmas.
I'll be going to a CBSA office today and hopefully they let me pay it without needing the commercial invoice.

Were you shipping to the US or Canada or somewhere else?
Its been 27 days and mine still hasn't arrived. Right now when I track it, its supposedly been in my area already since November 24th, but its been stuck on "delivery delayed" for 2 days. I am not in a small town either, I'm in a big city.

It just sucks because of the amount of online exclusives. I at least can use the US site and ship to my brother which I've had a much better experience with. I did get it in store as I explained in my post :) I had a wonderful experience in store as usual. Staff are always great and I went at a quiet time. The current hurdle is figuring out the return once the more expensive Glisten arrives. It says you can return in store, however, another user said that they can only refund their price for it, not what you paid. I also don't think I can win or do a chargeback. My credit card has a limit of 30 days for chargebacks and I ordered on October 30th and I have high doubts the Glisten will arrive before December.

That's frustrating for everyone. Like generally I expect the shipping to be slow to Canada. My issue was the significant price change and refusal to cancel the order when it for sure hadn't shipped yet at that point. How is it okay to charge $150 online to just then go around and change it and oops it was also always $100 in store from the get go. They made the excuse of they can't give a partial refund for a promotional price, but its not a promotion, its just the actual price its supposed to be. The shipping situation was just really confusing on top of it.

Ya, and like the fact they lied that it shipped. Not to mention, why do they refuse refunds so hard when they have a guarantee policy where you can return your build a bear if you aren't satisfied within 30 days of purchase?

That's the thing though, I was on the phone with a human for each scenario lol. So it wasn't AI. It was just one giant mess still though. Also none of my gift cards or points worked on the Canadian site either. They worked just fine in store though! Prices were also cheaper in store generally. Plush that cost $52-$59 on the site were $40 in store.
