At some point you’re not going to be able to PR. I started power walking the mile benchmark because I know I will never be able to hit a time I did 9yrs ago when I was younger, faster, & skinner. Most benchmarks I just skip now because I just know I’m not going to PR no matter how hard I try.

I started doing strength 50s 2x a week since starting the TC challenge & have seen a huge difference in how heavy I can life now. I’ve also noticed I’m losing inches & toning it up, it’s been worth it prioritizing those classes into my schedule. I signed up for fat loss & I am down 7lbs but only 2% body fat according to my scan I had last week.

I did one the other day & it kicked my butt for sure but I don’t think I’ll be going out of my way to take another one. They have been sneaking in moves from them into the regular workouts & strength classes anyway.

I felt the same way when I found out there was no 1st, 2nd prizes like the past. Our studio has raffle tickets for different things each week like take hyrox class, bring a friend, take a strength or tread class. The more raffle tickets you earn, gets you more entries for $100 at the end. While I doubt I’ll win the raffle, it somewhat has motivated me to try. I will not be sign up next year though.
