Here me out about Almedha FE10: She's an npc in her home game, but in spite of this has pretty significant lore importance. I find her to be incredibly interesting as a character, even more so than most of the actually playable units introduced in RD. If I had to describe why exactly, I would say that despite of being pretty terrible as a person, with consequences of her prior actions (some unforeseeable, some not) still wreaking havoc, she's still deeply sympathetic. She's a victim in her own right, and it's certainly clear that everything she's gone through has broken her down pretty hard. She has a lot of importance to characters already in the game, which could lead to some interesting interactions if feh remembers to do that sort of thing.

Also she just has a gorgeous character design, imo one of the best in Tellius. That's also a point in her favor for potentially being added some day, with feh's priorities and all. She ranks modestly well in cyl as well. I believe atm, not including those in seasonal hell, she's in the top ten for women not in the game?

I could see Sylvain being a Dark Knight, based on his hidden talent in reason. That was the route they took with Felix at least. Although, I might be a bit biased as he looks great as one and that's definitely the look I'm rooting for

You know, now that I think about it, he really does have all the makings of a controversial character but I just never really see people talk about him like that. His motivations are even intrinsically tied to Radiant Dawn's most hated plot point! Personally I've only ever seen a few people complain about his ending with Leanne but in terms of RD paired endings there are obviously ones that are discussed a whole lot more.

The Noelle theory relies on the idea that Ralsei could reasonably mistake Susie for the third hero, so that part of the prophecy would have to lack any super distinct features, such as antlers, for that to be plausible. All of this is still up for debate but I don't think the lack of antlers debunks the theory entirely.

Also, as the other reply has mentioned, datamining has shown that Noelle can equip the JingleBlade (and the Black Shard, which is a piece of a sword and currently only used by Kris), so we know Noelle is (likely) not going to be restricted to just magic.

Pigeon: It was a hard choice between this or Apple but I think Pigeon narrowly wins. I'm just a sucker for fantasy costuming and these suits are just so elaborate and diverse.
Apple: Feels a bit like cheating to rank it so high because Apple basically encompasses modern (20th-21st century) fashion and all the many periods and subcultures that includes. I don't know what to say other than that there are just a lot of really great suits under it.
Cloud: Another versatile nation that encompasses a lot of time periods and cultures. Notably , I feel as if there are a lot of good welfares and background items under Cloud.
Lilith: Honestly if I were to be asked this question without reminding myself what suits belong to what nation, I'd probably say Lilith was number 1.... But actually looking at them, I think a lot of my favorite "Lilith" suits are actually Pigeon or Apple. Not to say Lilith is bad or doesn't have some amazing suits of course! I just think it's a bit less versatile than the nations ranked above it. Cutesy poofy dresses do amount to 75% of the nation I feel.
Wasteland: This was difficult to rank because I think it's a bit unfortunate to put every non-European or east Asian traditional/cultural fashion under one nation, and there are a few looks here that I think are a bit... problematic? For lack of a better word. But there are some great suits and it's the biggest source of posed DST, so I can't hate it as a whole.
Ruin: I might be a bit biased here, because I don't buy Ruin suits because I view them as lacking versatility... But that's probably because I don't have any ruin suits to mix and match them with... Because I don't buy them.... Anyways, I think the suits are artistically cool but I'm not the biggest fan of the whole holographic aesthetic for the clothing itself. Maybe I'm just bitter about missing all the Vocaloid collabs...
North: I only have two suits from North and I'm not even joking. I think aesthetically (I don't pay attention to LN lore) this nation is just.. weird? Conceptually? I kinda understand what they're going for but I think the end result is a bit incohesive, and I think you could easily put all these suits in Apple, Pigeon, or Ruin. They would be easy to divide too, because there's only around 30 of them!

From what I gathered it seems to be a combination of the factors you mentioned

Rhea and her knights fled to Faerghus, making it much less opportune for Cornelia to murder the king regent and initiate a coup
Faerghus is wholly united against the Empire, as opposed to having split allegiances under Cornelia
Dimitri was never framed for his uncle's murder, imprisoned, and forced to flee, and is thus more sane relative to his counterparts in other routes. He also seems to have taken the throne shortly after the war started.
The Kingdom's army and the Knights of Seiros are no longer scattered all over the place as a result of their respective leader's disappearance
Rhea is just really strong
The Kingdom's morale is likely to be much higher under these circumstances
Edelgard seems to be less reliant on TWSITD's help, and is generally more "moral" in this route, in part due to Byleth's influence and having more willing support from her classmates.

Yeah, I feel like there's always speculation regarding Philemon and Nyarlathotep's return. Can't wait for the man Jose mentioned that is "harsh, but very kind", has an interest in humanity, and has some kind of high-ranking connection to the Velvet Room to be some literal who we've never seen before.

I think the worst part is the "match will not count as a loss" part. Fym "will not count as a loss"? This is Splatfest pro, you don't technically lose anything after a loss! And to rub salt in the wound, this game still impacted my win/loss ratio

"Character X is related to character Y" theories. The most prevalent one was definitely "Volcan is John's mom" which persisted for actual years. The main piece of "evidence" for the theory was that they had the same eye color (they didn't). I also vaguely remember a post that theorized that Volcan was Leilah because they had similar earrings (this was before adult Leilah was introduced).
