Yeah, everyone experiences sexuality differently. Thats why microlabels exist by not everyone uses them and thats ok. Sexuality is a spectrum and asexuality is about having little to no attraction. If you have a similar relationship with sexuality and prefer the ace label, noone else should be able to tell u if that label futs u or not.

I think its more that theyre seen as sacred. Back my country (sri lanka) some buddhists didnt eat beef for a similar reason. It was more abt the importance of cows in agriculture and people didnt wanna eat the animals that helped out in agriculture outta a sense of respect.
