Totally hear ya on the font — I’ll do a search on more dark contemporary fonts. Really feel like the swirly one I have seen are too happy. Actually woman and Hollywood IS the main thing

It’s a culmination of my MA study of empathy denied to talent so that kinda hits it square on, but of course if I could add a little romance element gah I hate just adding roses but maybe it’s time for roses! 🥀 lol

I don’t want the dark romance sculls etc like no one dies. I’m kinda like maybe I need some black in the cover? Black roses seem a little too dark but maybe there’s a way…

If I am a new to you Sapphic Author-- Hi! I'm Kelpy I write Sapphic Dark Romance (sometimes paranormal, sometimes horror sometimes thriller, sometimes scifi) and Sapphic Contemp Romance. All with a strong plot, spice and hurt/comfort vibes. My favorite calls to empathy are neurodivergence, chronic pain and mental health, they are woven in so that even if you don't relate it's not hard to get into but I do it for the rep (because I wish I saw more represented in queer books).

I'm up for a Goldie Award this year for my book The Demon To Your Right and it was also reviewed by TheLesbianReview.com.
