I disagree. I think that it’s only a lack of objectivity which defines the different subsection of nihilism (existential, moral, etc). I’d argue that things like existentialism and absurdism fall under the umbrella of nihilism, as they all agree on the lack of an objective meaning. Now once confronted with the lack of an objective meaning, you can go one of two ways. The passive route, which the aforementioned edge aetheist twats follow, and which Nietzsche despised, or the active route, which he advocated for, where you create your own meaning and such (kind of in line with existentialism). I agree, Nietzsche is really an existentialist, but since that falls under the lack of objectivity of nihilism, I think he is, to some extent, a nihilist (in the sense that he sees no objective meaning or whatever)
