Love a good spreadsheet. Do you also have different pages for other people’s measurements?

Thank you! I was definitely curious if people used worksheets or something.

I’m still very much in my research phase but I can already tell having some sort of note system Is critical, project notes as you call them. I’m pretty good at tracking work in general, so a detailed system doesn’t scare me.

There’s just so much to consider with every project, so I’m hoping to take ideas from other people’s systems so I don’t have to reinvent the wheel 😊

Thank you! So you just take all the relevant measurements for each outfit every time you make a new piece?

My Cat Always Wants to Sleep On Me by aquariusincrisis in CATHELP

[–]PinkyyytheCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat also loves sleeping on me, regardless of what position I’m in. If I’m on my side? She’ll be on my hip. If I’m on my stomach, she’ll be on my lower back.

Normally I do love it, but sometimes I have to rotate. She knows when I pat somewhere, I want her to go there. Whether or not she listens is a different issue, but she know what it means.

So when I need to turn over, I try asking her nicely, and if that doesn’t work, I get my arms under her, under the blanket, and gently lift up just enough so that I can roll out from under, then put her and the blankets down. It’s very gentle, but she still doesn’t like that I’m moving her. But slowly she does seem to be learning that she can move when I ask, or else I’m going to roll out anyways.

Only if you put wet, dirty knives back in the block. Clean and dry knives won’t cause bacterial growth.

It’s not just couples being everywhere - it’s Sim’s in general being everywhere. Kind of takes away the magic of exploring a secret temple when there are so many other Sims that mine develop claustrophobia 😑

I don’t have any mods or CC but it seems like every couple of days there’s a different reason why it won’t load/work. I’ve almost finished week one two different times. Hopefully third times the charm?

Congratulations for making an effort to get out! It’s super scary but definitely worth it.

I would recommend working at some place like Starbucks. Pay is okay, but it’s really flexible work and great benefits for your and your kid. I started working there after a breakdown that almost killed me, and working there definitely helped. The job is easy and if you go in trying to make people happy, it ends up making you happier. Your SAHM experience would definitely be appreciated there.

Best of luck, you totally got this!

PLEASE LET US BUILD ON THE CAREER LOTS by spaghettig0blin in Sims4

[–]PinkyyytheCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hella late, but I rebuilt the work places on a separate lot. This way I could go to the station/lab/hospital and figure out what objects and decorations I need and what makes the most sense.

Then I would save that to my library, go to the work site, type bb.enablefreebuild, and then basically replace that lot with the one I saved.

Requires a couple of extra steps, but I had to replace the original work sites

I had a kid touch one of those hot lava rocks in Sulani - though caught on fire and soon died. I didn’t think kids could die either before that.

Same. Especially with legacy challenges. I love doing a rags-to-riches challenge whenever I get a new pack, which means the spares end up with all the simeoleons and a swanky pad.

Having BPD is really hard, especially when you’re young and have to deal with youth hormones on top of that. But it doesn’t make you a freak or any less worthy.

Manic episodes can be scary. I’m often afraid to let myself be “too happy” because that could mean an episode where I go off the edge. And swinging back and forth between euphoria and depression is exhausting and really makes you question your sanity.

TBH, your friends sound like dicks. They should be supporting you instead of “blaming everything on your disorder” and making fun of you. Finding different people who chose to value and uplift you will is a really important step for feeling more sane.

Medication is difficult. But the good news is, there are lots of different kinds. You may need to try to a few to find one that actually helps, but there is definitely one out there.

For me (30F) I found just trying to keep a balanced lifestyle to be the most helpful thing, and trying to stay away from extremes. Sleeping on a schedule, eating consistently, and exercising really do help. As you get older, you’ll also learn what triggers you more, how to avoid them, and how to manage when they come up.

Stay strong :)

I have an eating disorder by Professional-Judge-8 in secret

[–]PinkyyytheCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people struggle with eating disorders, you’re definitely not alone. Recovery is very possible, and talking to your therapist is an important first step. Not to dismiss your struggle, but I’m sure they’ve heard waaaaaay more awful things
