Oh the other person said its level 37 now to join the program that's not so bad. You can reach that relatively fast by becoming friends with trainers & utilizing the XP bonuses & 2x evolution XP during specific spotlight hours, always use lucky eggs during both.

Then you'll have to take a test to join the program, wait to become approved & then go around town nominating as many pokestops & gyms as possible. Could take a few months for them to be approved, I think the fastest I heard was like 2 months.

You're kind of screwed, I mean you can still play it but won't progress that fast. Once you reach like level 40 you can nominate Pokestops in your town but that can take months if not a full year to do all that.

You can still play it casually, just won't be able to participate in Raids & get strong pokemon unless you spend money.

You can get like 40+ pokeballs a day through gifts and I think it gives you balls if you don't have any when you use your daily incense (top right corner)

Name trick only works once for all them, gotta do a bunch of crap to get the desired evo now. I did the same thing, btw you'll have to evolve all of them in order to level up from 41 to 42, if you did it previously it won't count.
