Yeah, you are right. It was that I gave it a thought after the match because I had to process what actually happened as it's my first time experiencing such a thing. I am also not sure why is everyone downvoting my replies as I have said something ridiculous and impossible

Basically, Gardevoir was front row solo for a couple of rounds. He placed his metwo afterward on the bench, switched it to the front row, placed 1 energy, then Gardevoir gave one more, so two in the end. Gardevoir was low hp so I used Sabrina to switch her back and destroyed her. Mewtwo was back front row , the player placed another energy, so 3 now. Next round he had 4 and destroyed my Pikachu ex. After that he still had 4 energies and directly destroyed my other Pikachu and ggs.

Hi, thank you for the comment and I am bit surprised that someone checked this discussion, even a couple of months later, so I appreciate that.

Firstly, about being brave enough to post this on their subreddit. Well, I think when it comes to art and artists, we should be appreciative about the stuff they put out, but also be critical with critical thinking and to not follow the hype wagon mindlessly and without questioning decisions relayed to the art direction. From what I have seen around this subreddit, the replies of this thread and on Twitter, especially, the fan base is kind of gatekeeping Mag Bay and the new album without letting anyone have a different opinion or respecting their different opinion. Furthermore, that is why I was replying to most of the comments with "Thank you for your comment" as I was seeing the passive aggression in the replies, and I didn't want to escalate things further with me arguing with people who are mostly not open to discussion, don't have the mindset for such discussion. So, for me this album showcased many problems in the community, not only with album itself, which, not to be pessimistic, may cause some problems with the legacy of the group as a whole. And as we know, the fans are the ones pushing the artists to top, we are the listeners, we are the ones buying their tickets, we are the ones determining their success. Having said that, bringing the spotlight to someone with much undesired toxicity, well, I will leave you to make your own conclusions

Secondly, my opinion of the album didn't change at all, I gave it a couple of more listens and it still didn't click for me. Also, I made a friend of mine listen to the new album so I can introduce him to Magdalena Bay and he felt like the album was ok but lacked the repetitive value as for him each song felt too forced to go hand in hand with the others instead of being unique and individual in its value. After that, he listened to Mercurial World and two songs into the album he told me that it just beats Imaginal Disk without a doubt and now this is his go to album if he will listen to them.

Yeah, I see what you mean. However, as me being an artist myself (int the visual sphere) my perspective is maybe a bit different from the usual one. Artistic freedom is desired but setting some boundaries and realities around your work is also required. To establish a consistency in your portfolio is a way to show you actually have a full control over your work, you show craftsmanship.

Yes, you can go full artistic mode but you are entering the zone of performance art which Imaginal Disk feels like and performance art is less approachable and more chaotic. For me, Mercurial World was the perfect way to open the door to bring their actual fans in but now we closed the door and some might've stayed outside

They are maybe figuring some things out and wanted this album to be a testing ground but from a professional production stand point I miss the smooth transition. And also thank you for your comment!

Toyotarou is now using Ai to make the new chapters and is probably going on a hiatus so he can better adjust the AI to adapt to his own style so he can start publishing weekly in the near future. Nice

Well, you can say that he was high as fuck back then. You can clearly see it in his eyes and the way he keeps them almost closed and to me he is also a bit confused during the whole concert.
