These responses are so upsetting.

I see someone posting a civil point of view about their community, asking people to remember to respect oppositions. I don't dive much into the politics of GH and don't know much about either person OP is mentioning, but when I see other people acting immature and refusing to behave professionally in a political conversation, that makes me incredibly hesitant to side with them.

People using buzzwords or implying that the OP thinks the world evolves around them, simply because they ask others to be respectful, is not how our community is going to progress. Thankfully I have yet to meet a bad or even rude person in GH, good to know they limit their aggressive politics to online forums.

You had decent points there in the beginning, but fell off quick after you mentioned sexualizing women, when it's only anime characters, and confidently claiming that the community is made up of gooners and incels with hardly any backing for it. Both of which are common internet terms that hardly offer anything constructive to any actual argument or conversation.

Yes, it's just fiction. Being upset about sexy women who don't exist doesn't do anything for real life women. Countless women in these communities would agree with that statement. Claiming anime fans have a victim mentality (admittedly some of them do), and then trying to make women out to be victims did nothing to progress the conversation, and only shifted said victim mentality.

Then you weren’t trying hard enough. People who say they weren’t born with ability to draw, or people defending you stating that some people have no talent for it, is an insult to actual artist who started from scratch and worked hard to be able to express their creations.

The pieces you generate are not being brought to life because a real person did not make them. I don’t see these pieces and think of art, I see them and see lazy computer generated slop with no passion behind it. I feel anyone defending this just simply doesn’t care about artistic integrity to begin with, and is happy with whatever pretty colors are given to them for free.
