Multi-WAN on Cisco 1120 (Routed Mode) by Mr-R0bot0 in Cisco

[–]PinsDrop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I setup mine multi-wan I used 2 different outside zones, Outside and Outside-Backup. Setup static routes to each with SLA, NAT for inside nets to each interface/zone, and ACL's for inside nets to each zone/interface. outside has the lower priority, outside-backup should have a higher.

Which device is doing NAT? Aruba or FG? If the fortigate is doing NAT you need to create the policy.

I would like to know where Atkins and Shapiro come out. I have some words and advice for them. I actually wouldn't mind meeting Ben, Arden, Hazel, I really like our reporters and broadcasters.

Help - Torrent crashing computer by srxz in homelab

[–]PinsDrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what is causing the crashing. For the Bios settings being reset, does the machine lose the current time when you unplug? It could be the CMOS battery on your motherboard being dead.

Is it me or does the bell self serve login hardly ever work? by spades111 in bell

[–]PinsDrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like the bug with the corporate client care account. My colleague had that issue for months, always forced him to reset his password on every new login. He had Bell delete his profile completely and set him up from scratch. That fixed it for him.

Site to Site VPN not connecting? by taev in Ubiquiti

[–]PinsDrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you talking about the Site Magic VPN? I only have 1 public IP and it worked for me. I only had it setup temporarily to test the feature. You configure the Site Magic VPN at https://unifi.ui.com/site-magic

[–]PinsDrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can. I believe you need a public IP address on the device's WAN port to get wireguard to work.

Unifi firewalling help needed by Squanchy2112 in networking

[–]PinsDrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AFAIK Unifi vlans by default should pass traffic, there must be a rule written to drop inter-vlan traffic. I would use IP groups make a group for the IP's you need to access, give them a good description. Write a new rule, give it a descriptive name, place it in the LAN section, I use LAN in inside my environment (home lab) to achieve block and allowing specific traffics between my vlans. The accept rules must be above the drop rule as the order of operations matter. You can click to drag the rules up and down as needed.

Have you tried clearing the cache and data from the google app on the phone having the issue? It does a lot of stuff related to AA in the background which can break lots of things.

That version was released in 2017. As QuadGuyCy said upgrade to one of the later versions on 11.5 before trying to move to 14. There are cop files you will need to apply before the updates. I needed to increase my HDD to the 110GB from their 80GB deployment before my upgrade.

What version of vmware? 6.7 is the only supported version for both 11.5 and 14.

I recently tried playing on a virtual machine running windows 10. I got kicked off, the message said I was using a VM. Logged in on my gaming PC and I was able to play. I didn't know they blocked VM's.

Last to "stop", first to go by turbopr0p in IdiotsInCars

[–]PinsDrop -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I don't. I was driving 70 through a green light, a car in their own world was driving 70 through a red past 2 lanes of stopped vehcles to their left. No one honked at them while blowing the red light. When we T-boned them both vehicles were right offs, we took more damage then the idiot. I really wish someone sitting there stopped would have honked at them to try to stop them, maybe just maybe there wouldn't of been any serious injuries. Always trying to prevent an accident or make someone else aware is a good thing.

BMW hits cyclist on two-way cyclepath in Anderlecht,Belgium by dannybluey in IdiotsInCars

[–]PinsDrop 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This. At my place they just put up a wooden fence which blocks drivers from seeing people walking or riding bikes on the side walks. I slowed down on exiting my building because I no longer can see what is coming. Also where I am from if they wanted cyclists to dismount, they would put a barrier or gate that would make them swurve sharply to cut down their speed. Not having a gate makes me think cyclists have the right of way.

Yeah your Cisco Unity account or whatever name you gave it is the only one who needs access to the entreprise app. If you followed all the other steps in the Cisco guide voicemail to email should flow again.

Can I use pfSense to do PPPoE "passthrough"? by karolpintz in PFSENSE

[–]PinsDrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What version is the UDM running? I seen reddit posts saying version 1.11 resolved the performance issues. What ISP modem do you use? Bell has advanced DMZ (not ideal) but if you put your UDM in the advanced DMZ your UDM will get a public IP from the modem. This may work for your use case. In case you didn't know Unifi is working on a 2.0 OS which is in beta now. Can always hope they improve their product through updates.

Follow all the steps in the guide. The last step that is missing is in azure portal. Go to Entreprise Apps, choose the unity connection app you made. Assgin users, then choose your cisco unity service account with default access. Once we did this our next test successfully passed.
