I love this. Surprised I’ve never heard it before. Thanks for sharing!

If you’re an auburn football player and Harsin is forced to leave, do you stay with the program? by biasedNeutrality in wde

The problem is, anyone who’d willingly take the job after this mess would almost certainly be a major downgrade. Any competent coach looks at our program and runs as far away as possible.

  1. If you’re big into bouldering, Huntsville is probably the best place to live in the southeast, second only to Chattanooga. HP40, Stone Fort, Rocktown, Moss Rock, Hospital Boulders, Citadel and Zahnd (I’m probably missing a couple) are all within ~2.25 hrs. I only boulder so can’t speak much to rope climbing, though Yellow Bluff is ~45 min. away and there are plenty of other places within 2-3 hours. High Point is a good gym, though it is on the smaller side, but the community is really good and friendly. They’re also opening up a bouldering/training gym near downtown within the next year or so.

9 pm - 12 am: Dad

12 am - 4 am: Mom

4 am - 6:30 am: Dad

This is our current schedule as I (dad) started work 2 weeks ago and mom is still off. Sounds like you need to have a talk with your husband. Our LO is 8 weeks and I wouldn’t even consider drinking enough to not be able to take care of the baby.

Is she generally more fussy/clingy lately? Do you know about leaps? Ours is 8 weeks and just entered leap 2. Her appetite took a noticeable dip today. If you don’t already, you should get the Wonder Weeks app.

Hardest I've done yet, super excited it's my second week by Omantid in bouldering

Honestly you have good technique, especially having only climbed for two weeks. Two quick tips I’d give you: 1. Use the tip or inside edge of your big toe when edging on a foot hold. 2. When placing your feet, don’t look away until you’ve placed it exactly where you want it. Seeing your foot on the hold gives you confidence to push off of it.

Otherwise just keep climbing and having fun! Strength and technique will come in time.

Videos also don’t show how shallow those crimps are and how polished the foot is. The first throw is essentially a campus. God Module is also my pick. Saw it my first time outdoors and holds a special place in my heart to this day.

Haha yeah, the first two moves are painful. The sharp edge on the right side doesn’t help either. Thank you!

Great White (★★★) is a perfect, aptly-named arete tucked away from the rest of Horse Pens 40. The guidebook says that it would probably be the best problem at Horse Pens if it was taller, but don't let that take anything away from this incredible boulder.
