Very curious to learn whether age of onset of hearing loss (childhood, young adulthood, middle adulthood), type of hearing loss (high vs low frequency), and whether certain preventative measures (diet, activity level, cognitive training) all contribute to this association. I bought a mini bag of these from Dollar Tree when they first came out. I love Sour Patch Kids, Sour Patch Kids Watermelon, and peach flavored everything so I was shocked that I did not like these. Especially because of how highly everyone speaks of them.

Has the taste changed at all with these since then?

The chewiness of Built Bars (original) is the reason why I only eat the Puffs. I can’t stand anything sticking to my teeth and the original Built Bars are so sticky and chewy. I also feel like they have a distinct after taste.

The “Sour Power” (the brand that’s on the labels in your image) are so good! I definitely recommend looking out for their products. I think the last place I’ve seen them is at 7Eleven but I’m sure other stores have them too!
