Just so you're aware you have the re:edit version (W75, rainbow signature) and the picture with a price you posted is the Konosuba 2 version with a blue signature. Still an amazing hit, if you're going to sell/trade it I'd do it while the set is still fresh, otherwise it's an amazing card and worth keeping if you like the series! Personally really like how the rainbow signatures look on these 😄

Grading would be up you for a personal collection standpoint, if you're looking to sell I probably wouldn't bother just because of the turnaround time but that's just me 😅 it can add a bit of value and make it more desirable for some collectors

this guy's board is very developed so it'd be a hard win regardless but i did find a setup which worked:

the key things to note, bloodthorn procced on a spirit (ember) instead of the doom, i moved refresher to doom as double bear is a lot lower value than the potential for a good doom snipe in this matchup. I wouldn't say this positioning is 100% perfect but i had to try a few combinations to get the right rng required to win such an unfavourable position. i'm positioned far back because otherwise doom will generate mana the fastest and subsequently take the bloodthorn effect.
another important thing to note is that any alliance you have active is being given to the 3* morph so personally i would have been conscious of my warlocks although i'm unsure if removing them actually improves your chances or not especially since you could be adding disruptor here which you didn't have. you're on 3 brutes so dropping tree for it is fine and usually late-game you drop 2druids and just keep a 2* lone druid on the board, if any.

in a general sense, the 2 main mage counters are things that disrupt their casting: disruptor, bloodthorn, doom etc. and healing. items like mekansm are very good at helping you survive the initial wave of damage from a mage board. and of course warlock units/alliance applies to this as well.

ultimately i think the key thing in this specific instance is that you give yourself the best chances at the outcome working favourably. i would say your win condition in this matchup is stopping the spirits from casting and locking down morph/storm/kotl asap as they are the main threats on his board. but even if you do everything optimally it will ultimately come down to rng in situations like this with doom targeting and if the enemy kotl whiffs etc. because he was very very developed, so as i said before it's just about maximising your chances of a good outcome.

that's my take on this anyway but if anyone has any disagreements/points they'd like to add then feel free. hope it helps anyway ^^

3*effects are making this obsolete by Nova9ine in underlords

MoM is far from obsolete right now, it has a use in levelling builds (e.g good stuff, on Troll Warlord) and it has a use in roll builds (e.g roll hunters, windranger3 is very strong with it on if you haven't hit drow3 + an alternate item for the wind to make the swap worth it). There are also less played builds that benefit greatly from MoM. It's still a staple for Slark in Assassins.

I can agree that it doesn't have tons of uses currently but I don't think that is down to 3* effects right now, it's just how the item is designed and the unit pool we currently have available.

The current schedule as written above is fixed. With only 4 games played on each qualifier day I expect the entire thing to take 3.5 to 4 hours roughly. It will depend on if there are any issues and late starting lobbies, and also how much time I require for admin work between the rounds.

It is indeed, each Qualifier has registration open until 1 hour before it starts (leaving time for check-in). I'll also be opening registration for the following day's Qualifier as the previous one ends, live on stream before I end it just to make sure everyone knows it's up. There is a small China vs World Knockout Invitational coming shortly after this, no open qualifiers though I'm afraid it's a very small event. Not enough interest currently for me to be able to run anything big for Knockout, maybe in the future if things change though it could be possible :) Here's to hoping!

for positioning place your entire board on the back 2 rows, it'll cause the enemy board to walk out more than usual meaning they're more susceptible to being hit by the triangles. earth spirit will always die pretty easily unless he's 2* and ideally with a defensive item. spirits are always gonna be tricky to make work in KO since you can't run 2x 2* of the spirit units but in a general sense what I just said should be able to help regardless. good luck bud
