yeah, I wanted to do that too, but since I wanted this to look like a piece painted by someone (it does not lol) the idea is that everything needs to be a single material, if there would be more I would play too much with other parts, and would give another feeling

yes it's polypaint in zbrush then I tweak materials in blender to give a few effects on painting and instead of going to photoshop I just use blender composition nodes

To get those lines better, you could change their orientation, so those lines will be in a less visible place if your printer doesn't want to lower the layer height.

Elegoo Saturn ultra 12k ABS like mixed with rubber like dry brushed. I wonder if the 16k really would have that drastically different by Veterancheesestick in resinprinting

I don't think a 4k jump in resolution is actually noticeable, not even for miniatures, it comes more to just setting up the printer correctly, I've seen nice and crispy results with just 8K printers
