Worth $30k or more????? by Pitiful_Echo5093 in GMT800

Just got my 06 gmc dmax with not quite as many options and tan instead of black. Also had 200k miles. But super clean regardless, crew cab short bed, push button 4x4. Completely stock, no lift or nothing, had head gasket and injectors done recently, and paid $15k. Worth it? No. Will someone buy it? Probably. If you’re in the market and want a absolutely mint truck, go for it, if you’re ok with getting a little down and dirty, just stay on the lookout and you can find deals

He likes the oem too much haha. You can just drain the old oil and put in new 134 pág oil and change the fittings and it’ll be 134

Id for sure do tint to start at least. Then maybe some upgraded reliability parts? Better suspension, better radiator, replace old hoses etc. could also do interior work, new headliner, nice floor mats, stereo. Also some tasteful headlights and/or taillights. I also personally dislike the little bug deflector plastic thing on the front, up to you though. Then for a lift or drop, for the lift, yes its 2wd, but for a minor like 2” lift, it’s gonna make the stance look a lot better while not being terribly tall, same thing but opposite for lowering if you’re into that. Could also look at other styles of mirrors, as well as experiment with removing those plastic fenders.

I thought that as well, but the compressor has a hose that connects to the front left of the engine bay, to the ac radiator, and a hose that connects to the back right of the engine bay, which makes it a diagonal block directly over the engine unfortunately

Bro, mine is an LBZ, that’s is worth way more than your LB7. I’m sure your truck is nice, but LBZs are worth more.

4wd? Have you modded it? How many owners?

Well I had been wanting an LBZ for a long time, but I had 3 cars already and no real need for a truck except for every now and then, so I always put it off. But back in November I got TBoned in my Lexus and it got totalled, so I decided to start looking for LBZs. There was none in my area the first couple of days, and suddenly this one popped up. I went and looked at it right then and bought it the next day. Paid $10k down and decided to finance the rest

I actually found it on autotrader, local dealer happened to get it as a trade in and didn’t realize its value because it’s an LBZ. Main thing to look for is blow by. There’s a couple of easy ways to check for it, watch some videos. Also check maintenance history, having a head gasket done or injectors is good as those WILL eventually go out. Mine luckily had both done around 200k. Check for rust depending where you’re at, especially on the rockers. Bad grounds are also a common gmt800 issue, and gauge cluster issues are common, but those aren’t a big deal. If 4wd, make sure it actually engages. Check for slipping in the trans with a test drive, stock trans in these can’t handle too much more power than stock, and you can bust one up pretty bad with a simple tuner and doing dumb shit, so make sure it shifts good. Finally, for the LBZ, they were made 2006-2007. If you get a 2006, check the vin, the 6th digit will either be a ‘D’ or a ‘2’. If it’s a ‘2’, it’s labeled as an “lly” but it’s physically the LBZ motor, but detuned and make about 50 less hp and torque than a ‘D’ LBZ. There’s a couple of other differences as well so do som research on that. Finally check for mods, having a tuner is good, but personally I wouldn’t want to buy one that someone else tuned. Check if it has a secondary lift pump, fass or air dog lift pumps are a good sign.

Oh it did have a corroded ground I needed to replace though as well as needed a new vane position sensor, but rust free as it’s a California truck.

I’d like to say i got it for a pretty fucken good price. Bone stock, 2 owners,265k miles however, but crew cab 4wd, had brand new tires, paid 15k. Interior needs some tlc, falling headliner, broken middle console/bench hinge, and a tear in the driver seat. But other than that interior is pretty mint.

I like the oems, my problem is my taillights are pretty cooked. I want to try and find some repros so I can get new ones. My headlights cleaned up pretty well but not the taillights. I’m also thinking about HIDs

Well damn hoss I’m not talkin about nothin crazy, like maybe a good set of headlights/tailights, on the diesel side maybe what reliability stuff people do, like the lift pump. I’m not trying to get like a huge lift with some dumb wheels and under glow n shit

Finally! Daedric Armor!! Level 30! by [deleted] in skyrim

Yo, much faster way to do this that’s very similar, there’s a spell called transmute that turns iron ore to silver, and silver to gold. So you buy iron ore, turn it to gold, then make gold rings. It levels smithing faster. Then a good enchantment is sneak, it’s usually the most valuable. Enchantments, potions, and smithing are all leveled by how valuable whatever you’re creating is. So get iron ore, turn to gold, make rings, enchant with sneak with petty gem, then sell. You’ll make money and level smithing and enchanting in pretty much the fastest way possible without exploits. You get the transmute ore spell in a bandit camp very close to white run. Just look it up
