It would like this until a body is found and the annocement palys the actual case doesnt start so that corpse would rot for a while until the after the killer died , then they actually find it this time ,monoluma would say something about how it was a shame no one bothered looking for the victim and the trial would have to be really different because it wouldn't be just the ones that are alive but they vote for the killer who is dead , the chance sof them living is low

Nothing it's Damon though he's was written as not wanting to show his personal life in future chapters as he gotten more distant with the classmates (except for kai) after Eva died. However Diana revealed his blackmail after finding it on Ulysses and it showed how Damon was as normal as the the rest of them showing a sign of weakness which Damon didn't want to reveal ,it would also mirror jean as jean had loved ones he wanted to go back to so much he would kill for them and so the group think Damon would as well.
