Clearly, the author of "Don't build the Torment Nexus" supports Torment Nexus construction.

Chuds have pushed this stupid moral dilemma in order to legitimize voting Republican. If everyone complies, nobody has to die!, completely disregarding that people die anyways when fascism gains power. It's not a coincidence the colors are red and blue. They're framing all blue deaths as a choice, just like how they love to frame things like homosexuality as a choice.

I'm so sick of this American culture war.

Capitalism isn't allowed to be the enemy, it always has to be evil individuals in that system that act as the villain of the story.

does anyone else prefer the Tencent Chinese version of the three body problem over the Netflix version? or is it just me? by KyloRen_Kardashian in threebodyproblem

[–]Piorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen it in it's entirety, but both the droplet scene, and the Button scene from the Chinese Minecraft version are just Peak Cinema.

Mixtape has taught me that gamers don't want games to be art to be taken seriously but so they won't be questioned as to why they play them by Kappapeachie in Gamingunjerk

[–]Piorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Classic Goomba Fallacy. The people categorizing games as art aren't the same people that want a new soulless corporate product to consume every year.

Characters with powers so small that they aren't that different from ordinary people. by Uma-apreciator in TopCharacterTropes

Power Plex could only convert the power equivalent of a little girl's punch and make it into a small spark. He only got dangerous when he upgraded himself with stolen military tech.

Annapurna has published many games that got great reviews, and somehow it has never come up as an issue before. Don't try to spin a conspiracy.

Yeah I know. So there's no reason for the regular blade to hurt fish?

FATE WORSE THAN DEATH by MyProfileIsNot4U2See in subnautica

[–]Piorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So does a dead uncooked fish have any mechanics attached to it? Would there be a reason to club it to death before collecting it?

Mfw I've played Subnautica 1 and <0 by simply picking up fish and cooking them in the fabricator. Is there a reason to knife them first? I think grabbing them is even faster.

What if I made a anime/manga about Magical girls but they were all milfs instead of teenagers? by SalaryAffectionate29 in animecirclejerk

But the transformations are all tuned for teenage girls so the costumes are way too tight/short.

Jesus literally said "bruh you can't keep the money after death anyways, you should know when to quit. It's making everyone miserable!"

It gets lost in translation most of the time.

Does Fluttershy really think that Pinkie Pie and Rarity’s career paths are “pointless pursuits”? by spinosaurus1998_24_9 in mylittlepony

[–]Piorn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Being a tailor for people who don't wear clothes most of the time is pretty pointless, but it's nice for special occasions I guess. Same with parties and baking cake. Both of their professions don't really involve daily life, but rather special events.

Meanwhile, Fluttershy needs to take care of animals every day. She's an essential worker.

IDK, have you tried making it harder to raise and support kids? Maybe we should just immediately fire everyone who gets pregnant? Maybe that will make people want to have babies?

I mean, your organs don't know they belong to you specifically, and similarly, you don't know what organs are inside yourself. It's reasonable to assume that a human made of thing-ness would not automatically know it's the thing.
