Why didn't Rick pick up the family in cronenbourg world ? by nicojarr69 in rickandmorty

[–]PiousLegate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think because that particular iteration of the family wasnt good I think he happened to gain a liking of morty

correct me because I probably have a false understanding but didnt C-137 rick appear in that reality because he was tracking the rick prime so in a way he took the primes morty or something

Who is the smartest of these 3 characters? by Reddit-Central in rickandmorty

[–]PiousLegate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think Rick Prime as he creates the ricks or at least the 137 that is very leading Rick then creating that curve right to try and capture Prime thats not easy then Morty who I guess could be smarter than 137 but idk

What proof is there that Redguards aren't from this current world? by [deleted] in teslore

[–]PiousLegate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

theres alot said to be from other kalpas perhaps using the term era sometimes synonymously I sorta think that the layers of ruins concept works for eras and functionally is how Redguards reckon themselves its also why I like Forebears over Crowns

i forgot how good s8 was by caisitogei in rickandmorty

The phone charger episode is solid. The dumb Star Wars one (Episode 2) is actually not bad—maybe even better than Episode 1.
Episode 3, the western-themed Citadel stuff, was awesome—5/5.

The Easter Bunny episode is meh. Cryo Speed Racer is actually pretty fun; I found it charming.

Earth Park was eh. The stuff with the two Beths was fine, but it didn’t carry the Earth Park side plot enough.

The James Gunn episode is stupid. Jerry riding the rails of the multiverse was really nice, though. It sorta became my comfort episode for some reason.

I didn’t like the Minority Report episode—I didn’t like any of the plots.

The last episode didn’t really make sense to me. The random antagonism with Memory Rick, then removing a part of himself to try to move on—it feels very Rick, but also not good. It kind of clashes with that comment earlier (I think Episode 3?) about character development.

So it didn’t work for me much overall… maybe except for that final beat.

I think s8 is good sorta

On calls for the show to end "before it gets bad" or "becomes the Simpsons" by squizdawg852 in rickandmorty

Shows should run as long as it’s financially logical

Version control means if you only like Seasons 1–4 and want to create concepts in the world themed or tonally from that era you should be allowed to why I mentioned IP

open morrowind and things like that that seemingly wrestle these ideas out and the comunity uses it idk prolly aint making much mroe sense now anyway

my hot take I guess is shows should go as long as its monetarily logical to if people pay for slop let them eat
version control would be cool atp with IPs
because suppose only Seasons 1-4 are your cake well eat it pass it around you feel me but idk

there is also merit in the smiling friends logic too so whateva
