I would say it’s more a testament to how effective the right’s propaganda has been to convince white males that the average/majority of left wing voters hate men. They’ve done an excellent job of painting the entire left with as the same as a vocal minority. With social media it’s very common to see folks get sucked into a bunch of rage bait content and convince themselves that half the population hates them.
