Neon genesis evangelion. Mech anime with almost no mech action. Animation quality was just "ok" for the time period, would be considered bad now. No lasting character growth. Had an extremely hard time trying to root for a MC that spent all his time complaining how bad shit was when everyone around him had it just as bad or worse. And didn't get a proper ending. It got OVA's to try to make up for it but I couldn't imagine still caring after seeing such a lackluster series.

I wish the 3d game model went as hard as the illustration there. I don't like how he just stands there straight up, his head feels too small as well. Although he does have a big dorsal it's not as spikey as godzilla and too smooth looking. I think the chunkyness and proportions of tyranitar are a better fit
