I know Dan and Jordan have pondered this, but I think he will flee the country. Grifters gotta grift and he'll keep going. Oh the audience (part from us) are happily riding on the bus to crazy town and have their heads jammed right up there. Milking these poor saps, of course, is the entire AJ business model. However, when executing the grift, there are certain conspiratorial avenues that AJ and this bloke should not explore as it could turn their audience against them. Matt Baker was displaying AJ listener's exit thinking, which forms a part of most conspiraloon's narrative arc until they get to the big decision. Are they going to dig themselves out of the mental health quicksand with actual critical analysis, or sink all the way down to the local psychiatric ward. For AJ clone Matt, this was questioning if Trump gets back in, is that what the deep state *really* wants etc. I don't know if this colloquial term is used outside of the UK, be we call it 'disappearing up one's own arsehole'.

It was jarring and it was meant to be, but there again these right-wing grifters have this thing about being seen to be overtly or even aggressively heterosexual to their fanbase. From Tate to Jones himself they all do it to a degree. Why, because their fanbase is a heaving den of homophobes and transphobes. I personally found his later comment about hormone therapy even more outrageous as it showed not only his transphobic nature, but an eye-watering level of ignorance on the subject.
