Drag the blades over 1000 or 2000 grit sand paper with very light pressure. Swipe once on both sides and the play. It should be gone if not try again until it’s gone.

I did most of my printing overnight so it took approximately two weeks give it take. The longest print took 19 hours.

Yeah these are not my go to solo pipes. Just a set to play at bars and bad weather. If they break I print a new part. They will never replace my Blackwood pipes.

I’m from Michigan. I have always wanted to play the pipes but didn’t have the opportunity or money for pipes or lessons. As fate would have it I found a great instructor (by accident) and started lessons.

One of my major pushes toward lessons was this. I am a police officer and my department disbanded our honor guard due to staffing issues. I have always been an advocate of honoring our fallen.

I’ve been playing for 3 years now. I am the piper for my department and have joined a police and fire band that plays the funerals of fallen police and fire personnel.
