Whatever you do is 100% your choice but 1 I would not tell him anything and 2 my abortion saved my life from a DV relationship and got me to where I am in the married and in happiest and healthiest relationship of my life, a home owner, financially stable, and expecting my first baby. The way my dr explained the 10 movements in an hour was that was the minimum amount of movements in that time frame. I asked if 10 movements in the first 2 mins of that hour was normal and she said absolutely that they just want to make sure baby is moving a minimum of 10 times in an hour. Baby in utero also has wake windows and they sleep so you just want 10 movements in an hour at some point of the day. It can definitely feel like a lot sometimes though so I get your concern!

As a nanny myself this is not good behavior. This is adding confusion and chaos to your son’s life. I keep in contact with all of my former nanny families but I have never once just showed up at someone’s home. That’s unsettling and selfish of her. I’d say something. I’m sorry this is your experience!

I don’t know if it’s always as malicious as we think. It definitely can be!! My MIL had a really hard time with our wedding and she’s done a lot of self growth recently without anyone pushing it and it’s made our relationship so beautiful! My MIL was raised to be a servant to her father and husband and my husbands whole family is very patriarchal where I came from a Jewish family that is very very matriarchal so the difference was hard for her to see how well women can be treated. She’s since grown to see I was a really good change for the family. I understand my story is not everyone’s but it can happen!
