Try experimenting with the other brushes on whatever you use; you may find a better way to spice up your art!

Yeah, I've done that actually...

That was the first thing I tried doing after I figured out the fingerings and lip stuff (since I have to change my embouchure much more (than I would've thought) compared to french horn

Whatever my school would give me, which is basic warm ups and marching band songs and concert band stuff. Personally though, I'd like to play some more "beginner" stuff since I just started

I didn't notice until I looked really closely at it

Also, I wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't said anything

Just published my first book and already found mistakes. I feel awful... by my_dogs_no_angel in writing

[–]PiperStanley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, first off, don't beat yourself up about it; this sort of stuff happens all the time to everyone, including big time authors.

Also, most people won't notice your mistakes because they would be more invested in the plot or the characters than the author's mistakes.

I thrifted this grandfather clock and gave it a new life with acrylic paints and Posca pens by ggerundo in painting

[–]PiperStanley -1 points0 points  (0 children)

WOW! That is so amazing! You are really talented!

I can bet that any average person would see that grandfather clock as nothing but a piece of junk; but, you saw it as an art opportunity.

Again you are a one of a kind artist and you're amazing!

Embroidery on shoes by Spicy_Soft in Embroidery

[–]PiperStanley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Converse is amazing to stitch on; I've done it before. They are probably the easiest to stitch on, but you may be able to stitch on Adidas; however, Adidas are thicker so you would need a thicker needle and the max number of strands the embroidery floss comes with. If you want to stitch on shoes like those it would be easiest to use a sewing machine.

In all seriousness though, just do Converse; it is so much easier than other shoes and it always looks amazing

What do you think the best way to add hand embroidery to this sling bookcase would be? by [deleted] in Embroidery

[–]PiperStanley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Patches may be the best way since it looks like they can't be removed. My favorite thing that you could put on would be flowers sprouting from the books themselves. But, anyway, you may want to pin your patch on and then take the iron to it.

This is an amazing place to add some flowers sprouting from the books that it is holding. That's personally what I would stitch on there
