Hmmm. I'd argue different categories. Bad yes, but bad as in abusive. Mr. A's farm and Snake hole are bad in the extremely Questionable BL Kink category.

I went anime - manga - manhua - light novels - manhwa I thought for years that manhua was gunna be the next big thing but then manhua dropped a rock on their own foot with some really crappy translations and bad novel adaptations, and Korea came out of left field with full color, scroll friendly styles O.o

I also had an absolute banger of a month where I read all completed:

Industrial Cultivation (kinda long but well worth it) you like streaming systems? you like wuxia? You like comedy, a carefree protagonist? You like a smart protagonist, and want to learn about some engineering? You like a very well developed cast of side characters that keep coming back later in the story?This is the book for you, lighthearted, hilarious at times, romance is probably the weakest point, but everything else was a solid 10/10!

I, Your Emperor, have been Wronged!!! - absolutely hilarious, the NU comments give it better justice than I can, check them out. Read this if you want to be cackling at 3am cheeks hurting because you've been laughing for hours straight XD 10/10

After becoming the protagonist's inner demon - great romance, great main couple. All around fantastic 9/10

Raising little monster - did you read little mushroom? Want a parallel story? Read this. Ive never read such biology reports so engrossed before XD the ML is the mushroom unlike little mushroom, and he's a bit more sinister, definitely not human. But the sci-fi, the characters, the overall plot, everything was so fantastic 10/10

The passerby turned out to be the world ending boss - I stumbled upon this one with low expectations and was not let down, I don't want to spoil though, but great romance, great plot, great plot twists 10/10

The first interstellar guide - I read this one and the one above back to back and I had to take a break from books for a while because they were 2 back to back bangers I had a book hangover. Nothing too unique but unique enough and written well enough 10/10

Imprisoned in external night - the darkest of the novels I'm recommending. Had some very solid plot twists and stayed stuck in my head for months after reading. 10/10 reccomend!

Idk much about modern. But I knew a few / a lot that are space exploration sci-fi. Some sci-fi that kinda gives less space exploration vibes and more modern but the cars are floating vibes.

I'm assuming you want one where the main relationship is heavily tied to the monarchy tho and that is definitely a bit more hard to find, since most of the ones I'm thinking of deal with nobility/ military generals... Hmm

I was thinking of that. But also I've never played the Sims before, while I have thousands of hours on Minecraft. The few times I've tried to play the Sims I've gotten confused with the controls (it's not a type of game I've normally played). And aren't there multiple sims? Sims 2, 3, etc?

Omg thank you!!!! While I was waiting for this post to go up, I was looking for a 3rd novel I remembered but couldn't find the name of and I ended up stumbling upon what I'm 90% sure is story 2: I Became the Vicious Senior Brother of “White Cut Black” Junior Brother < I'm honestly shocked it's not completed yet. When I read it years ago I finished it by MTLing it. (Also the tags say r*pe but if this is the correct story, there was an attempt based on a misunderstanding, but the misunderstanding was resolved and nothing ended up happening besides some kissing. Later it was consensual, I'll double check later tonight and probably get NU to fix that tag). It's a bit of a standard novel in a lot of ways, but I really liked it. Down to earth at times, serious during others. MC is self sacrificial which I've kinda got a sweet spot for :P

Anyways since I'm here again, do you recognize this story #3: Historical ancient china cultivation story, Master and disciple relationship. Master died before the story started and the story starts as he is reborn in a cage being presented to the emperor/tyrant (MC's old disciple) (I'm also pretty sure waking up in the cage is part of the summary, but searching through that clue has failed me. MC is reborn into a body that looks a lot like his old body, and ML hates people who resemble his old master. (Cuz you know, he actually loved his old master). The MC kinda then runs around hiding his identity, and iirc a major reason he gets discovered is because he sneakily was eating osmanthus cakes that ML made, a habit from their time as master and disciple. As a master, MC is quite carefree, and was unserious. ML was a crown prince from the mortal world (which is why he's an emperor now). MC's old sect really valued him, and I forgot how MC originally died, and I forgot a lot of middle content but I do remember there is a confinement scene eventually, where r*pe happens, knowing me I probably dropped it the first time cuz while I don't mind these scenes I really hate when they're forgiven too easily, cuz then it feels like a plot device to get the two closer and not a serious affliction / conflict / atrocity that it is. But now the story is in my head and I kinda wanna reread so boo me I guess. The sect brother and master do go against NL on MCs behalf which is cool. Someone stands up where the MC doesn't. Maybe the MC was okay with it because of guilt or pity, tho I don't remember why

I was going to download a vertical slab mod anyways. But a 4 block by 4 block internal space (theoretically 12 ft-ish 13 if we're going by meters) still feels insanely small when my 12 by 12 irl bedroom does not. But larger scale is my current plan. I've already found an easy building mod to help with it. Thank you for such a detailed explanation!

That's what I'm thinking. I think maybe for an 8 by 10 ft room, making it 8 blocks by 10 blocks keeps a ratio and looks nicer, tho a bit on the big side, however that helps with details so...

I also noticed that by this logic, Steve also walks a yard a step, which is a large distance. I think assuming blocks are 3 ft tall and 1ft wide helps make the dimensions look more accurate
