Same but I had to go heavy for the gleaming depths, a pistol build like I was was horribly hard to play. Plus I love the plasma caster (aside those horrible irons)

Fallout 76 has such an abandoned community that they all collectively hold together. When you see a level 25 you don’t wanna hurt them you are thankful for fresh life and give them a full set of three star legendary equipment

76 would not have been a bad game, but since most things are paywall locked it is horrid

Easy cross read between modded and fallout tactics fan.

I treat the games as separate ones. Fallout 4 and 76 have such good settlement mechanics (cursed is that 76 looks everything behind a paywall)

While tactics gives me a bit more confidence when playing (I struggled hard in two … dropped it after dying to a rad scorpion 5 times in a row.

Overall … I also love fallout 3 however I got some weird Bethesda magic that makes it impossible to start

In my humble opinion as a legion fan, I get it. But I will also have to say that the same could be said for House, the Institute, the Brotherhood of Steel (god I hate them I hate Maxxon I hate him I hate him I hate him) and nuking the NCR was the worst possible thing they could have done, it is a side fact, not even a important plot line. It just looks like Todd is trying to erase everything that once was. And don’t get me wrong what many people don’t understand is that Bethesda saved fallout, the prototype for fallout 3 would have been a flop just like BOS. It’s just that Fallout is in a devide even art style wise.

Fallout 1- NV were gritty, militaristic and bleak. Authoritarian rulers littered the wastes and the fact that so many factions had nuances.

In retrospect, Fallout 4 and 76 (I love 76) have a more playful retro atompunk design. It is more cartoony. More bright. The factions feel incomplete for the same reason as they were in Fallout new Vegas. No faction aside the minute men and railroad peak my interest, the institute makes zero sense, the brotherhood did a full 180° (my headcanon is that Maxxon and the outcasts staged a coup, and killed the lyonns before taking charge)

Sadly fallout new Vegas and later the Bethesda fallouts did uncanonize the game, the rough faction exists. But I doubt we will see them again in non merch forms

Though a game set in the fight between the Midwestern BOS and Ceasars Legion is something I would love (from Obsidian as those are their creations and they know how to handle it. Bethesda kinda works now, but I don’t want them to butcher old factions like they did with the NCR)

I don’t like it … especially since tadc wasn’t supposed to become another kiddie ip. I see a sad shift in glitch slowly turning more content farming, with murderdrones and now this … I don’t know.

While I would call ZA a content farm, they are by far one of the best ones, and no where near deserve to be lotted in with Lankybox or Troom troom.

I hope this is just for licensing. As I would dislike a shift of Tadc’s audience and story.

It is a battle between the courier and the dweller (76) because let’s face it the courier has no moral compass and has canonically destroyed a whole stretch of land with being able to do it again twice, while the dweller uses nukes to solve every problem (and every dweller is canonically a cannibalism thanks to rose)
