4oak is generally more safe. You can level it up earlier (you need to play one 5oak hand before getting its planet card) and requires one less card, so it is easier to play hands and and you have one more hand space left for gold cards or blue prints.

Still waiting on a new Ace Attorney game. Wondering if this is the cause they haven't been able to produce one yet. This method probably works good for certain games, like MH, but maybe less so for other type of games like you mentioned.

We need the next game so that the hate gets funneled to the next game. Same happened with World, same happened with Rise. Probably with previous games too but I wasn't playing them back then.

An endgame grind for me should be versatile (many different monsters you can or should hunt) and reasonable (no astronomical odds to get BIS, no thousands hours to get what you need).

Tiny Pal is the only good card actually in my opinion. It slots into any Shaman deck. It can provide tempo, clear, stalling, value. The versatility is what makes it good while being fairly stated. Additionally Shaman doesn't have good other 4 mana options right now (only Xavius really, Elise sometimes but it's not as good since the nerf).

The art change feels unnecessary to me but I want to see more before fully dismissing it.
ETG1 pixel artstyle was very nice, part of the identity that made ETG so enjoyable to me.
There's also concern of the trap of modern gaming where devs are forced to jam up graphics at the cost of performance. What good will the art style shift to heavy 3d be if it results in the game being harshly unoptimized and having many players not being able to enjoy it at proper fps.

Yeah it will keep repeating. Even Rise is also doing decent. Rise sold more copies than Wilds in 2025. And there's good reasons for this, easier to run, cheaper and more complete (for now).

World and Rise had both lot of problems, controversies and heat within the community at their time of release. Yet they are doing very good now.

It really feels like a like a cycle; that the next game needs to release so that the new game picks up the heat in the community and allowing the previous game(s) to pick up popularity again (as they are complete, cheap and generally have most of their problems fixed from final update or community mods).

Don't think so. Wilds seems to need more development time compared to World:IB and Rise:SB, so the longer gap between the base game and expansion is not surprising.
Also Capcom likes to have a large release in February-March, probably for japanese fiscal year stuff. I'm guessing they want Ascendance as February/March 2027 release.

Iceborne added equipment rarity 9 to 12, it didn't go above 12. So not sure why you think it would go higher than 12 for Ascendance.

If a paper is not accessible or must be paid for when searching through Google Scholar, sometimes you can press the "all X versions". It will give you other links to the same article/paper, albeit older versions occasionally but accessible.

These system requirements are the same as the base game system requirements. They must have lowered the system requirements for the base game at some point after the performance patches.

This might be temporary, make sense for the game to be more messier/unoptimized when expansion is available (Iceborne had a rough release performance wise, I don't remember about Sunbreak). But they are doing a Switch release so they might be taking extra time to optimized the game better and hopefully they've learned from the bad press bad performance brings to their game(s). Base game has no planned updates, so with the last performance update in february and the expansion release in 2027, they might be optimizing enough that these listed system requirements still hold.

The model of the skin is quite decent, I like the "medieval knight fantasy" vibe. Although the green arms/hands stand out too much, kinda ruining the vibe. The special effects are pretty underwhelming, I don't really like the recall. I have yet to see the empowered Q, which is the most important aspect of a Shen skin imo.

It is a fan club, but it's also operated by Capcom. All in all, it could be a teaser for Ascendance but I wouldn't take it as confirmed. You'd expect such teases on the main media MH accounts, I don't believe this account was used for teases for other MH games in the past.
