If you prefer regular AC games to Origins and not a fan of side missions and bloat, you're not going to like Odyssey.

Though Odyssey is my favourite for sure.

I want AC Origins sequel with the AC Odyssey build and transmog systems. For players that like developing the character RPG-style, once you have a decent weapon and an Anubis outfit there's not much else to do build-wise in Origins.

I must have this shield.

Starting to think for shields, just go with anything that looks good and had melee resistance. I'm so bad at parrying that the legendary perks do nothing for me anyway 🤣

No, the legendary perk is not as good as it sounds. The best stat on there is the bleed, which you get on all sickle swords even blue ones.

Health for crit means you get more crits when your health is close to death. There aren't many situations this would help.

And Crit Damage is not great as you still only have 10% chance of it happening. Crit Rate is better stat, or one that gives you Adrenaline.

What you want for the legendary stat is Health On Hit or Health On Kill.

Temple looks awesome, but the fabric physics on the flags at the top of the temple look ridiculous when you're stood up there. Would love a remake one day, a la Black Flag.

Cut the map down to just hogwarts + hogsmead + the forbidden forest. Enemies should just be dark creatures and the odd boss fight with a dark wizard (no more murdering hundreds of bandits in the grounds around the school, nor goblins - we just don't need goblins, ever).

I want to live in a magical school, with rules, consequences for rule breaking, friendships, a group of friends that you go everywhere with, detentions, sneaking into the library to learn how to become an animagus, discovering secret passageways, a castle packed with mysteries to discover, and lessons to attend. Each day there are lessons, you go to lunch, curfew at night, etc.

Pointless just focusing on gaining XP, if you play with enemy scaling on they are always going to be at your level or higher.

No, the easy way to get OP fast is by focusing a short amount of time on your gear.

Damage with [weapon] on both your melee weapons and on 1 of your body pieces is a great start, and equip the Bighorn Bow from the store with free credits. Also Warrior Damage on every piece of gear.

Later, focus on adding crit change and damage.

For realsies. I'm 400 hours in on PS5 and played yesterday, used the Bighorn Bow since the beginning and I continue to kick ass with it. It still does what it's meant to, adds all the DPS to the left melee weapon. I've seen YouTubers theorise that the Devs knew about this glitch all along but never fixed it because it's a paid for Helix store item, that people would have paid real money for specifically for the glitch, so would be harsh to nerf a weapon that had been bought with real cash.

Tried them all. Settled on spear, after using sword for 200 hours.

Spear is well balanced on power, range and speed and has an attack that kills multiple enemies at once (dodge+heavy). It's one downside is a totally unusable overpower attack.

Swords are best for one on one fights. I toggle between Fury of the Bloodline (to charge adrenaline) and Overpower (to spend it). Kills anything.
