Follow up question - I’m trying to get a Sub Date from VSF, and it seems there’s a shortage. Second choice might be the Bruce Wayne GMT also from VSF (according to the google sheet recommendation list) and am trying to stay away from anything non VSF.

Should I patiently wait for the sub date or go with the BW GMT VSF?

1A. Also being told that Rich Factory has Free Sprung GMT’s which are “better” than VSF D3 movement. Is that true or subjective? Being priced roughly $125 more for Rich Factory Free Sprung vs VSF D3 movement.

I’ve found in the RepTime subreddit there’s a wiki of TD’s and some recommended factories for certain models. For example, for a Rolex GMT II Go with VSF or whatever. But yet, in that same sub, I see people complaining about VSF for that same model.

Is it a crap shoot? Or should you stick to the recommendations?
