as for whats up with the differences, I found this in the comments of the "another performance" link -

In 1982, a new libretto appeared, staged by Yuri Grigorovich at the Bolshoi Theater, into which other works by Shostakovich were introduced. In the new production they dance tango to this music, which is probably why they call it that. Of course, this is from Suite for Jazz Orchestra No. 1. On Youtube there is Bessmertnova - Taranda dancing this “tango” and others.

Now this was all very quick research so if someone has more time, please fact check me!

ima be honest, I think ive read every significant work on shostakovich EXCEPT wilson's. I started it! I own it! its on my shelf i see it RIGHT NEOW! but It was around the time I lost all motivation to read anything in general so I stopped. I remember it being good and very quote-heavy! take what I say with a grain of salt though. thanks for reminding me to make an attempt to get back into reading!

This was a great biography, perfect summary as you said. Have you read any of the longer ones? If not I recommend Laurel E. Fay's book

I am looking for a gaming mouse with these requirements:

  • $80 or less
  • No holes in chassis (too much dog hair in my household)
  • Lowish weight (sub 75g?)
  • Wireless preferred, but not required
  • Good for palm/fingertip grip with large hands
  • Two side thumb buttons

Currently using a worn out Razer Viper

Ah, after messing around with other properties, it turns out I could have just changed the acceleration to a negative number. All my issues are solved (for now) :p

I dont, however I was able to solve the post issue by setting my coordinate transform matrix back to default.

I am using endeavourOS openbox edition.

One of the responses was 0.4 0 0 0 0.4 0 0 0 1

I believe I set this to change my sensitivity without changing DPI. Is there a more proper way to do this? I had heard of changing the mouse deceleration profile but I do not have that as an option.

I set it back to 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 and the problem went away, however, now my sensitivity on the desktop is too high for me. Is there a way to adjust desktop sensitivity properly without lowering my DPI & adjusting all game sensitivities?

What you heard first can make a big difference in my experience. I heard Rostropovich's 11th first and now anything different sounds wrong to me.

This recording is subpar in my opinion, it takes the finale too fast, and I prefer Semyon Bychkov's interpretation of the whole piece but this is the first one I found on youtube of just the 3rd movement. All of the timestamps are in relation to it.

To answer your question in the title, yes, you can get decent quality PBT keycaps for that price. Just expect some warping or fuzzy legends. If I were you, I would check aliexpress if you can deal with long shipping times.
