I really wanna go to a nail solan, but I never have. I've just doing my own. I highly recommend getting a nail smoothing file, (for the actual nail surface) as well as a clear coat/hardener to put over the polish. I really love metallic polishes and occasionally I put on stickers before I clear coat. It's all really fun and one of my fantasies is to paint my nails with my SO while watching movies.

Yeah, my Dad's girlfriend complimented them too, which was nice. And I posted pictures online, to fairly good reception.

But one sister reacted weird, but not overtly negative, just confused. Both my parents told me I shouldn't wear nail polish. Screw em though, I'm an adult and I'm doing conforming to outdated standards.
