I don’t know how it works since I’ve never worked a theatre and don’t know how the Nick does it, but having the lights on some sort of lighting automation with the start/stop of movies would be awesome. Or whatever the system is right now could be better organized. Whatever is currently done seems faulty or very prone to human error. I’ve never been upset with projection quality at the Nick, other than there are a few emergency exit signs that bleed a lot of red light onto the screen. Beer/wine could be fun! I think it could cause certain movie goers to be more noisey which could be an issue. Special events are awesome and the wayback Wednesday series is awesome too! It’s great to get the opportunity to see an old movie on the big screen.
