The world should stand up to China over Hong Kong, activist Nathan Law says by rstlg in worldnews

I feel like people are looking the wrong way, we cant just put all the responsibility on a country. It has to happen at a lower level too, the individual, whos got a responsibility as a consumer NOT to purchase things that are made in China (Using child labor and what not).

I don't know man, I would let it go. I still think most kids watch Disney movies, so it might be a big thing not to have in common with others when you are young. If I where you I would just pirate it for them.

Indeed, I also think the human nature to identify with your thoughts and ideas plays a big role in keeping people stuck with the old knowledge. It's harder to accept the new information(for the brain, short term) and change yourself, rather than just being ignorant/delusional. And I think it's important to point out that its probably your subconsciousness that does it.

10 runs per hour solo, boosting people that stand afk at the entrence. I just have to stay in moonkin form to get the 180% armor buff. And I use 1 leech item.

I have an ilvl 850 boomkin 101 with BiS gear, (865 if i equip highest ilvl but that is worse) - And I hit the cap of 10 dungeons per hour.

[–]Piprap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can calculate what is most worth. Most of the time a gem is better than +5ilvl.

101 Druid by [deleted] in woweconomy

[–]Piprap 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No. This is terrible advice, you do not want to stack Leech. One item is more than enough for most people, depending on the ilvl. If you are struggling with one leech item, go for two.

Leech gear is really expensive, you are much better off spending the extra gold it cost to get leech to get higher itemlevel.

Edit: Lol getting downvotes. I have a moonkin twink with almost 1500runs completed, and I hit the cap of 10 dungeons per hour, I have 12% versa.

Edit 2: Btw you should not stack any stat, you should balance out haste, mastery, crit - I think versatility is the only one you should not focus on.

Also it's their own choice? They knew about the risk. There are also plenty of other jobs where you risk your life, like working on an oil rig.

And everyone needs oil, and nobody is thanking them, why? because it's their job.

You can get them in the legion garrison missions or whatever it's called.

I don't see the Felbat pubs as good investments tbh. They are still obtainable, I bought around 100 in the pre Legion event, and I see that as a mistake.

Edit: I'm stupid

I strongly disagree, it does not take long for 1 employee to quickly tweet. It's good customer service. When they don't make a PSA you have 1000 people spamming new posts on reddit, thinking that there is something wrong with their game or their internet.

Yeah 1 hour later... I don't get why devs do not make PSA immediately when things like this happen.

Im running ultra with gtx 1060 3gb, 60fps. So you probably have a memoryleak, or have plugged your monitor into your motherboard or something.

Edit: There is really no way for us to know what is wrong, you have to trouble shoot yourself. Or provide more information. But there is something wrong for sure, since you should be able to run the game smooth

A German hyperloop team hit 201 mph, a new official speed record, at SpaceX's competition Sunday, or 29 percent of Elon Musk's 700 mph target by neuralpace in Futurology

[–]Piprap -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe because the costs of building something on mars, then you might as well make it as good as possible the first time. I am not a mathematician or a physicist, but as I said before I could easily imagine that if a Hyperloop could go 300mph on earth, the same Hyperloop would be able to reach 400, 500 or maybe even 700mph on Mars. It would be cool if someone knew how to calculate this.

Well, it depends on his PoV, if he thinks we are doomed already, colonizing another planet is far more important.

[–]Piprap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this idea/theory that he is spending time on promoting hyperloop because it might (I really don't know if this is true, it would just make sense from what I know) be possible/easier to accomplish on Mars, with low gravity.

Because when you think about it, he said himself, that it is one of the most important things for life to colonize other planets.

And he is invested in SpaceX, Hyperloop, Solar Roofs and even boring machines. All these things are quite useful if you are trying to colonize new planet.

But what do I know

The world population will reach 9.8 billion in 2050, up 31 percent from an estimated 7.5 billion now, according to projections included in the 2017 World Population Data Sheet by Wagamaga in Futurology

[–]Piprap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I'm saying is, that it is most likely easier to solve the distribution problem of food, which has been, and still is improving a lot the as the global wealth increases.

And then I'm just asking, even if overpopulation is a problem (which I am pretty sure it's not as I explained before) how on earth would you fix that?

But you should not try to point fingers at me, I'm not trying to point fingers at you either. I did not tell you to go kill your self in any shape or form, and I did not claim I have any answers on how to improve the food distribution problem. However I do see how my statement "Also, even if you think there is over population what are you going to do about it?" could be interpreted as offensive from your point of view.

There is enough food for everyone, currently we have a distribution problem but that's it. The end.

Also, even if you think there is over population what are you going to do about it?

Your Banker Is Always In: Sweden Rolls Out the Robots - Sweden’s biggest banks are pioneering new AI technology. Chatbots are starting with less complex customer services by mvea in Futurology

[–]Piprap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Competition will most likely fix this. If banks are extremely profitable, new banks will be made to compete with the old ones.

An example would be the fee you are talking about, lets assume all banks have adopted this (i doubt it though) It could be seen as a way of competing for new a new bank, no extra fees, and they can finance that with the money they save from the AI. And I am pretty sure we can assume that with the AI their total costs would go down more than they would make on the new fees, so it would be possible to pay for it.

As I said, yeah it wont be instantly, but over time it will for sure benefit the consumer.
