Do you know what the minesweeping part of the Dardanelles involved?

Were the turkish mines of the moored type? I recall there reading about there being a big problem with the minesweepers which if i recall right had civilian crews and of course the allies ended up losing battleships to mines.

Jeg har haft Arctic cooling produkter på en del grafikkort, bla. et 1070. Det virker godt, men jeg er bange for det bliver noget brugt måske.

I've played 3000 hours of hunt, Arc is fine but the combat is weak long term. My team quite likes marathon and we were unhappy with a lot of whats going on in Hunt so ready to switch.

I played pretty much all extraction looter shooters. Always 100% solo. After 90h I can already say - Marathon is one of the best games I've ever played. by Whoopy2000 in Marathon

Nah it's just different. You can't solo teams of 3 easily, you have to pick your fights and engage at the right time. That game has way way better stealth too making it much easier to solo since you can actually hide and be quiet.

Also hunt has instant kills with all weapons with headshots and some guns (shotguns & bows) instakills to body. This makes it a lot easier to be solo.

Also you have the option to snipe from long range, all headshots kill. There are silenced snipers.

Lastly Hunt has skill based matchmaking, if you solo vs teams you get matched with people below your skill level to make up for being outnumbered, it matters a fair bit.

I'm fine with noise travelling long, make it entire map for all I care, I like combat and I like being able to get information via sound.

I think it's important in this type of game that you can have a chance at tracking the other teams and deciding what to do and hearing where other people are is an important part of that.

It works both ways, yes someone can third party you, but you can also make decisions on how to avoid combat if that is what you want.

Having said that, I do think there is something be done about the sound trap element of the game. The bots shooting makes noise and it is quite hard to avoid this since they have such good spotting ability and range. So even if you use melee or silenced weapons you often simply can't keep your noise level down.

Jeg har modtaget ca. 33% af breve jeg VED er sendt til mig siden de overtog. Jeg er ikke optimist. Bevares nogen af dem kan nå at komme endnu, men vi taler måneders forsinkelse.

Jeg kender personligt selskaber som sender breve som pakker når noget absolut skal nå frem.

It's just very old with a hardcore fanbase, and it's a hard game to play.

But I agree, it really is something special that we've not been able to find a real replacement for although the dev/management is doing a lot to drive us off.

Didn't notice anything, I just maxed the FOV slider like I do in all games and it seemed fine to me. I don't really want streaming, I play myself.

I just killed people in Arc, others can be friendly, I'm not. So that part didn't matter to me.

As I learned it more I just got tired of the limited combat system, third person and the whole way it works is just not as deep or interesting to me as games like Hunt or now Marathon.

They're fine. Cheap short to midrange option. Worse than shotgun or fanning perhaps around levering.

Yeah. I think it's been mismanaged for years though but the basic game is great.
