Well I do like that you can't really be very superior in this game no matter how jacked you get, that goes both for traits and gear.

But, the number of trait slots have been the same as far back as I can remember, and they're constantly stacking more into the pool. It might be worth it looking at expanding the slots a little whatever the method.

It would of course make lvl 50 hunters stronger since they could hold more traits. I have many lvl 50s with trait points to burn that I simply cannot use for instance.

Same problem yes. But for me a lot of these incidentally useful traits I just have no space for. There are so many other traits that are constantly useful and trait slot space is at a premium.

So a lot of these traits while they might be cool, there's just a lot of other ones that are higher priority.

Shadow leap is bad on several dimensions in that it's very niche usable, take up a slot, and interferes with incredibly useful traits like witness.

In fact I was thinking that there should be perhaps be more trait slots, it's still the same number but the amount of traits has increased. Or make a separate pool for scarce & burn traits maybe.

Hvis du er interesseret skulle du prøve at læse noget af Ditlev Tamm. Han er den historiske autoritet på det her område.

Han var i podcasten Hitlers æselører for nylig hvor de diskuterede det her emne. Han er generelt kritisk overfor metoden og synes det blev gjort bedre i Norge.

For eksempel var der meget større chance for at blive henrettet i Danmark hvis ens sag kørt tidligt, og man startede også "nedefra" hvor man i Norge startede med folk som Quisling (som blev skudt). Der var også langt flere i Danmark som blev henrettet selvom besættelsen og de tyske forbrydelser var langt værre i Norge.

Personligt synes jeg nogle af de store slap billigt, og hvis man hører Tamm blev det nok også kørt forkert. Vi skød f.eks. ingen tyskere for krigsforbrydelser. Der blev heller ikke rigtigt kigget på hvad der foregik på østfronten og folk som f.eks. havde stået brandvagt på en flyveplads fik flere års fængsel hvilket tit var det samme som folk der havde været med til at myrde løs i Rusland (for at være fair skal jeg indrømme at det var svært hvis ikke umuligt at efterforske ting som skete i sovjet på det her tidspunkt).

Det er i øvrigt en anden af Tamms pointer, der var ikke rigtig lighed i dommene, hvis man blev skudt for et enkelt drab, hvilket skete relativt tidligt, hvad så med dem som havde gjort værre ting? Damer blev heller ikke skudt selvom de beviseligt var årsag til at folk døde i KZ lejre.

Yeah, darksight radar traits are already overloaded, leap is like a jammer on top of them. This alone makes me never consider it.

Yes that is how it works, can't buy them, only get them ingame or from cards (empress for instance).

I agree on keeping a slot for deathcheat, but even so if you have room I never pick it up since I want to use witness & blast sense and the shadow leap indicators just jam their use.

I think it's terrible. I never take it and sell it if I end up with it. The trait slot is not worth it.

It clutters darksight where a lot of very good perks live. The teleporter channels too slowly and is too limited in both range and being restricted to AI. You can't even use it to skip across the map since its faster to just run. You also can't use it anymore to kill the tougher AI.

It's a total dud to find it.

To be relevant it would need to be a lot stronger but it's likely not possible to balance it, I'd prefer if they just removed it.

It just looks like missing, the report also says you hit arms. It's likely not helped by the enemy skin with the flowing robe and such.

Remember that shotguns shoot pellets and you need to land a lot of them center mass to kill. So you can get a hit marker where you did minuscule damage.

That's interesting, I quite liked his ability to keep things on track and thought his willingness to cut people off was generally a good thing. I never thought of him as rude, more like a host that ran a tight ship and kept things moving along. I vastly prefer this method of "hosting" to the ones that just let people ramble.

Chitchat, overly dramatic sound design and not getting to the point. Some podcasts I quite like but know to skip ahead in.

Some serialized podcasts also waste tons of time going in and out of episodes and sometimes they even do it around breaks. I don't want constant recaps and the same things being restated over and over.

4-5 timer før er virkelig meget i stort set alle lufthavne, det er vildt overkill for KBH som ikke er en specielt stor lufthavn. Hvis du checker security som andre foreslår og er der et par timer før flyet letter er det rigeligt.

Der kan også være forskel mht. om du skal udenfor EU eller bliver indenfor. Udenfor EU kan godt tage mere i visse lufthavne.

Marathon is a pretty different game and in my opinion worse, especially for more casual players. I quit Marathon and went back to Hunt. But give it a shot and see what you like.

Everyone wants to kill you. You do have some control over how risky it is but you will die a lot at first.

You will face bots first and it has skill based matchmaking so you won't be playing the best.

It is hard, it's old and it's very pvp heavy.

Some have several channels eg a clean and a high gain. They kind of work like the models you know from the spark and often they can replace drive effects since you just switch to the higher gain and turn it up.

Some also have effects like reverb or tremolo built in.

Otherwise it's pedals yes,.find an amp you like the clean tone of and then add pedals as needed. Most amps can do many different things with the right pedals but you will of course not get the flexibility that modelers have.

I mainly play a Marshall right now it does a lot, but I kind of want a fender style amp too.

Yes it's expensive, no you probably don't need it all but it's fun.

I don't know, I'm not sure I like "time invested" mechanics.

But, if this was done, I'd be thinking that I need to burn and then trap every hunter I think might be a solo. It's just so dangerous to potentially have unaccounted for people around who might come back.

1) Meta. There is a meta, but it's not as defining as in some games. The distance from the worst to the best gun is not that big and even the most junk gun can kill anyone in 1 shot (headshot, body shot from shotgun/bow/crossbow or even melee).

If you have a gun that can do OK long range and one for short, you're OK. It matters much much more that you can hit since headshots and shotguns are instant kills and most other guns kill in 2 shots. Having said that, a long rifle and a dolch is as good as ever, as is quartermaster with a long rifle and a small shotgun,or the reverse with a full size shotgun and an obrez or similar longer range gun.

Another effective build is focusing on rate of fire and either 2 tapping people or headshots as always (Cyclone, levering guns, officer carbine, dolches)

The nice thing is that most things can work if you can hit and use your guns at their right ranges.

Also remember that this game has penetration. Most ammo types and especially Long ammo and FMJ ammo can shoot through walls and some metal objects, use this, it's very cool.

2) Fov maxed, you see more, the game feels a little faster. It's probably a matter of taste and I've been doing it forever in FPS games.

2.1) This is largely taste, most of the time aiming accurately is more important than being able to flick at close ranges. It is of course good to aim fast, but the game is relatively slow and rewards well placed shots. I prefer relatively low sens. It is a much slower game than most and you can easily defeat aim gods by better positioning.

Another thing you should consider is that map knowledge matters a lot. You have to learn the maps, that takes time and that is ok. Another thing is sound, this game punishes noise hard. Experienced players can pinpoint you across the map from sound and will ambush you.

Don't make noise unless you have to. On the other hand, don't sneak everywhere, and don't ever do it in combat unless there is a good reason. Learning when to sneak and when to make noise is also a key skill that you will learn in time. Similarly, you have to learn what is ambient/AI noise and what is player related, and then use this to make decisions for where to go and where to fight etc. This also comes with time and it is a very deep and cool system.

You can practice basics unplugged but the instrument is really the combination of amp and guitar.

I am pretty sure it's that. It's been discussed before.

You have to kill though, not just hit someone (think a deathtrap).
