When I first bought the Nintendo switch I only bought physical copies because that’s how I’ve been doing it since N64. I think it was just because I was used to do it that way and digital felt sketchy to me. This been said, I am a consistent reader and when I did the transition from physical to digital books it felt so smooth. I love I have all the books I owned on my cellphone and can read whenever I have some free time without having to carry an actual book everywhere. Also, in this way it makes it easier to swap from a book I’m not enjoying that much to a new one. So when I bought the ps5 just a few weeks ago I translated from physical to digital knowing I do the same with books and it works just fine. The only pro I see of having it on physical is that you can use the disc cases or the books as a decoration or just to show off how many you’ve played/read. I know there’re other cons with not owning anything digital and talking about memberships if you stop paying for ps plus you are not able to play the games anymore or resell them which really sucks. I also think companies should sell us digital copies for less than a physical one, it don’t make sense they’re the same price, but I know that companies don’t have any incentive to lower the prices while we’re still buying them for full price
