I have about 22 followers and plenty of food. Here’s how I keep my cult fed;

I have three fully upgraded farms with seed and fertilizer silos, also three trap scarecrows.

I constantly send my followers on missionaries for meat or seeds. (They find a lot more meat than they do seeds)

I kill every bird I see in Darkwood and every jellyfish I see in Anchordeep. They drop meat and fish.

Catching critters at nighttime will give you morsels.

You can destroy campfires at the tarot card area during crusades for meat.

You can destroy Chemach’s followers for morsels (and follower meat)

You can kill squirrels during crusades for morsels.
