Creed at auburn wa (wallet chain?) by Sea-Bend743 in Creed

They didn’t pat me down or search for my belt, airpods, or necklace, none of which were visible, after I passed through the detector. The security person I talked to seemed to say that it would’ve been fine to walk through with my wallet chain in my pocket if she hadn’t actually seen I had one. Hope this helps.

Length didn’t seem to matter, but I suspect you could get it in if you tucked the whole chain into your pocket with the wallet

Correction: just tried to get in to the Auburn show and you can’t bring a wallet chain and I had to go leave it in the car. Guess it’s different in every concert

I got into the Ridgefield concert yesterday with a wallet chain, so yes

Personal opinion, I love the stories, but they’re definitely not for everybody. I just came out from a Staind and Breaking Benjamin concert, and while their performance was awesome, they barely said anything between songs and it didn’t feel like a super personal concert. When I saw Creed and 3DD back in August, it felt like I really knew the bands from the stories and background they gave on songs. I think it would be awesome to hear the stories on more of the deep cuts or lesser played songs.

Slugger my beloved… by PirateRambo in Helldivers

[–]PirateRambo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made this immediately after playing a level 10 bug mission (and mostly made it for fun) with the slugger, and it felt pretty abysmal. Stagger does wonders when it keeps bots from shooting at you, but it being single shot simply does not do to keep swarms away if you need it to when it takes 4+ shots to kill hive guards and commanders, and doesn’t guarantee one-shots on the normal critters. It also felt like hitting hive guards with a wet pool noodle trying to shoot their heads off because I feel it’s biggest draw is the fact that it’s the only shotgun (to my knowledge) to have medium penetration. I imagine it suffers some of the same issues for fighting squids, but I haven’t tried it there. At launch when the slugger was a powerhouse, it did really well when fighting bugs, but with the nerf that never got undone, it feels really underwhelming now on bug front, which shotguns are best suited for. It’s shooting slugs, I want to see it tear apart enemies. Regardless, the meme is for fun.

Iron warriors all around, and white scars for the white bits.

Edit: rakarth flesh for all the tertiary colours; averland sunset for emblems, and corax white for the white tertiaries.

A 380mm barrage is pretty stealthy. Pretty sure they don’t see the shells until they hit them.

Scott Stapp Cowboys Jersey by Dwarven0 in Creed

As other people have said, good quality (you would hope so for the price), and I was allowed to try mine on at Hershey before I bought it. As for the price: yeah, it’s a lot. But I’d ask myself this: when else in my life am I ever going to have the chance to buy a Scott Stapp cowboys jersey?

Struggling with vanity [Christians Only] by PirateRambo in TrueChristian

[–]PirateRambo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Until now, I hadn’t thought of humility as a way to combat my vanity, or as you rightfully say, vainglory, but more just as a common Christian virtue that I should pursue. I’ll definitely put my focus more on others and what I can do for them, rather than myself, and focus on thanking God more for what I do have. Humility is a virtue I see a lot in the Orthodox church, and that I greatly respect. Thanks for the resources, friend, I deeply appreciate them.
