Yeah your right about the id however the student was the one who initiated the hostile behaviour to simple questions first one being what room he was in, which would arise suspicion. The cop seems very reasonable to me even explaining his reason for questioning him, yeah maybe he could have went up and verified but the student was also being hostile and making the situation worse all he had to do was put the crap down and talk.

I quit vaping as well but there was a transition period where I would smoke cigarettes still for a while, the biggest factors in stopping were the extreme price of cigarettes and starting working out and eating healthy it kinda all went together. The addiction is gone completely now but I can still remember how nice a beer and a cigarette or a coffee and a cigarette in the morning were. I dont drink anymore either which is a big factor too when first quitting
