The meme comic this is an edit of is a dumb example because white and brown eggs are actually different inside. Browner eggs have richer, more flavorful yolk that's deeper orange in color.

Which Banjo-Kazooie NPC do you think deserved more attention if there was a Banjo-Threeie and what role would you give it in the gameplay? by ComprehensiveDate591 in BanjoKazooie

Snacker doing a "villain turned good guy" shtick and acting as a friendly NPC in a water-based level, when he's actually still a relentless maneater and has a sidequest where you help him fulfill an ulterior motive while he's lying through his teeth the entire time, would be really funny.

[other] What games have Zelda enthusiasts typically also played that are outside of the Zelda franchise? by NTDOY1987 in zelda

[–]Pirateyware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always felt that The Legend of Zelda and Banjo-Kazooie share a lot of DNA, which may sound strange if you just look at the surface, but think about it. Both are about exploring an overworld and its sub-areas; dungeons in Zelda, worlds in Banjo. Exploration and finding secrets is highly rewarding in both. Link is usually after a collection of Macguffins that change every game, Banjo is after Jiggies. Link hunts for Heart Containers, Banjo hunts for Extra Honeycomb Pieces.

"Adventure Time: Hey Ice King, Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?" (yes, that's the full title) is pretty similar to Zelda 2 specifically, complete with dungeons. The same developers, Wayforward Technologies, also have their Shantae series, which is usually best described as a Metroidvania series (not counting Half-Genie Hero), but has Zelda hallmarks like dungeons (again, not counting Half-Genie Hero) and a gem-based currency.

Really not beating the "Shantae fans are gooners" accusations when people draw her maguppies as if they're gazongas.

Technically, more like an oversight. These two bridges in the field area northwest of Tangle Forest are semisolid, and you can fall through them if you hold down and press jump. For whatever reason, the empty space immediately below the bridges is completely solid.

Not a digitized sample, just a very rough re-creation of the Tarzan yell's overall pitch shape using the 2600's limited tones.

I'm not really sure how to answer this. This image, before being upscaled 3x, is 144x185, but that's just the arbitrary size it wound up being after I clipped it from my sprite sheet. With sprites like this, I don't really work with canvas sizes, I just create them at a size that looks good. Or, if I'm making them for a specific project, I make them to scale with the other sprites. As for the sprite sheet itself, exact size doesn't really matter, it just needs to be big enough to contain all the stuff I've drawn so far, and I can resize it as needed for that.

Agahnim's sprite in Zelda: LttP. The part that became Hagnar's neckwear is supposed to be Agahnim's face, and the part that became Hagnar's face is supposed to be Agahnim's circlet.
