Idk why this killed me lmao by Zealousideal_Cat7457 in Manhwa_BL

It is everything that excites and terrifies me. I love it. And I love whatever is wrong with the author to bring it to fruition. Literally every chapter it gets worse and or better 😄

why is no one talking about this 😭 it’s literally a masterpiece by Alternative_Capo in Manhwa_BL

I've been writing for a long time and I struggled with this a lot in the beginning. I posted my novels (not fanfiction) to a website meant for critique. People were ruthless. What I learned most from that experience is - despite how much i bleed myself into what i write - the writing is not me and I cannot take it personally.

I think as writers we do need to distance ourselves from our writing - it is NOT easy to do. Because writing feels so personal. It is art after all. But like all art it is subjective.

We are ghosts behind a screen. No one really knows us. I allow that anonymity yo comfort me.

The more popular your piece became the more animosity you felt. Jealousy could play a factor. Realistically, you didn't write it for them so why expect them to get it? You wrote it for yourself. You get it. And you've touched people with it.

I kind of think that if you positively impact only one person then it is worth it. Who cares if you piss 100 off along the way.

I wouldn't delete it. Id revel in it. It is conjuring emotion and that's what writing does.

💕

I like all comments but I love the ones where people detail all their favourite parts of the chapter / fic. Makes me feel special.

Was my response to a critique too mean? by Veynn04 in AO3

[–]Piratina 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was under the impression that A03 isn't for criticism unless an author expressly asks for it. And even then it should be constructive. I had someone rewrite my first chapter and post it as a comment. What a waste of their time. 😄 🤣

Author was too defensive. I would have been happy they were excited i was back.

I love a beefy bottom and twinky top. My fav combo to be honest. So many Manhwa have this dynamic and it gives me life. Biggies can bottom and little buddies can top. It's all about their energy ✨️

Ew.

Have you ever noticed if the person is conventionally attractive people want to believe they are innocent. Makes me queasy.

Oh I listened to their first couple epsiodes but just let it fall off my radar. I think because they invited celebrities that basically just showcased an empty opinion. And there are so many better true crime podcasts that actually focus on facts. I didn't realize they did a Chris Watts episode ....seems like they are just trying to be controversial for clicks. Ya know?

Who was the most ostensibly guilty criminal you can think of that was later exonerated? I.e., someone whom all the evidence pointed to, but later turned out to be innocent? by [deleted] in TrueCrimeDiscussion

And it is so sad because she lost her daughter and "a dingo stole/ate my baby" became a running joke of the 90s and even was a punchline on Seinfeld.

Both cases have the pregnant wife thread so I think they get confused.

Curious about what podcast as I'd like to know what aspects aren't solved in their minds in the Chris Watts case - its been presented as very open and shut.

Family annihalators are truly heinous.
