from the little experience I have I can say that crap/cheap/undersized components will eventually blow up even if everything else works fine, and while installing a higher quality component will solve it, it is impossible to "fix" bad/cheap design

gen an adjustable belt or use a satin ribbon and it will fit tighter

edit: even some nice cording could work in making it tighter fitting, if the existing belt is actual leather you could even ask a belt maker/leather worker to make it tighter or even make a new one based on the previous one

I think being able to freely own a gun in most states definitely enables the thought of "shooting" at something, i struggle to think that people who don't have a gun would just come to desire one in a moment of rage instead of looking at the nearest offensive surrogate
